"She must be joking, right?" Zan asked her youngest sister, refusing to believe in Flamberge's words. The giant ice cube instantly melted and released a girl that was smiling a little too much. "NOPE! Our dear sister had her first crush! And about time too, I'm waiting to have my nephews and nieces!"

Having multiple thoughts, the lightning mage blushed once more, she was terrified. "Francisca, please tell me she's messing with me." "Kids?! I'm not even ready for this!" She thought and panicked when the red-haired girl kept talking.

"Zan here probably slept thinking about his sweet voice, or perhaps in him kissing you on the cheek..." She teased once more, this time causing Zan to cover her face with her hands, heavily breathing as she did so. "Admit it! You were in love this whole time and didn't even know!"

"LOVE?!" "Make it stop... How can your words affect me that much...? It must be some kind of magic..." The girl shook her head from side to side, wishing that this wasn't happening.

That was the determining factor for Francisca, who finally decided to say something. "FLAMBERGE! Can't you see this is not helping?! You're giving her a panic attack!" In one smooth move, the girl in blue pushed Flamberge to the side and went to help the poor girl. "Take a deep breath, can you do this for me?"

Zan uncovered her face and looked at her with a concerned expression, so she did what the ice mage said, calming herself right after. "Is this really happening? Am I in l-"She couldn't even finish her question due to the increasing rhythm of her heart. "love?"

Francisca tried her best not to tease the girl in denial, she then sighed and smiled. "Yes, my dearest sister, you're in love." Stroking her golden hair, the ice mage gained a wide-eyed look from her. "No... it can't be... I never fall for other people! Are you sure this isn't something else?"

"I'm afraid this isn't the case, for the first time someone touched your heart." The bluette smiled once again, with Flamberge giggling uncontrollably. "But how...? Why...?" Zan hugged herself, not even caring about the redness on her face.

"Sometimes, we only realize the value of things when we lose them. After that whole incident, you've felt afraid of losing him, that fear became the love you feel now." Francisca explained, comforting her oldest sister while doing so. "That doesn't explain anything! I'm still afraid!"

"Yeah, afraid of being rejected!" The fire mage nodded as she was the master of truth, receiving a 'shh' from Francisca. "We cling to what we don't have, and what's the thing you've never had?" She made a gesture for her to start talking.

"A caring friend..." Zan whispered.

Just as she finished her last sentence, the lightning mage shook her head in denial, saying multiple no's as she did so. "So you're telling me that just because that bowl cut was nice to me, my heart wanted more? Because I was in a lonely phase?" The blonde girl rubbed her hands in nervousness, awaiting for her sister's answer.

Meanwhile, Flamberge picked up a bag of chips and sat on the corner, chuckling as she did so. "This is too entertaining, keep up with the comedy show!" That made the bluette narrow her eyes in her direction, as if she was judging her. "It's the most plausible option. Enjoy your moment, it's an explosion of happiness, trust me." Francisca had the biggest smile on her face.

"But I never asked for any of this! Can I make it stop?" Zan placed both of her hands on her chest, thinking it would slow her heart down. "Nope! It's like a third-degree burn, it can take up to a year to heal!" The girl in red said while she started eating the spicy chips, which caused Zan to make a stoic face.

"I... need a moment alone..." The oldest girl got up and went to her room, a door slam could be heard from the kitchen. "Aw, just when it was getting better!" Flamberge closed the bag and crossed her 'arms', with her sister touching her shoulder in comfort.
