I gave Jaden a smile then quickly left.

Jaden came after me. I was in a rush I really didn't want to see him after seeing his neck and everything else.

He stopped me while I was trying to get into the car.

"Please don't leave." He said

"You have a guest. Besides we aren't together anymore." I told him trying to hold myself together.

"Angel please I'm sorry for raising my voice last week. I just don't want to live my life without you anymore." He said as his eyes started to water with tears.

"I forgive you, but I didn't run off and fuck someone else right away." I said while I got into my car and drove off.

Looking back Jaden didn't seem to happy.

Later that night I kept tossing and turning in my bed. Sleeping without Jaden seems off. It hasn't even been a couple of days and I'm already starting to regret leaving him. I've never felt this sad over a silly boy. And it's worst that Jaden is a bit older than me too.

She left. I couldn't do anything about it besides watch her drive away.

I went back into the house and Crystal was still inside.

"What's wrong sugar? Did she say something?" She said while coming from behind me.

"I'm going for a drive." I said grabbing the keys to one of my cars.

I drove around the city for a while..

Maddison and I have been no contact.. this feels legit..

Work was normal.. nothing new going on..

Bryce has been a big help.. actually a lot..

-Bryce's POV-

For me life is the same. I have the girl I love and the best best friend. Well he's kinda going through it right now.

I feel bad about what I'm about to tell him.

I walked into his office.

"So what's the news for today?" I told him

"Well, nothing munch. Just how there's this kidnapper. Kidnapping young girls and boys. We need to end that." He said. Taking a drink outta his mini fridge.

"Jaden, didn't you kidnap Maddie?" I told him

"We don't talk about that. Plus she's mad at me right now." He said taking a seat

"About that." I told him

"What now bryce?" He said kicking his legs up onto his desk.

"She can't see you anymore Jaden." I told him taking a seat on his couch.

I know how Jaden gets when he's mad. Or if anyone talks about his love interest.

Yes Jaden has almost been married in the back, but I know Jaden. With Maddison it's different. He went outta his way to kidnap her. He saw her once and fell inlove. While being engaged. I've never seen him this crazy over someone.

Jaden doesn't play around with his girls, but now that Maddie might actually be the love of his life.. he might get 100x crazier than he was over Jennifer.

"What do you mean?" He said

"She's taking over her dads business." I said fidgeting with my fingers

"Which one? Her dad is like a billionaire.

"The same one you're in.." I looked down. But before I did I saw Jaden get up.

"What! What do you mean?" He said

"Look she came over last night. And you guys were already like falling apart and she said that her dad said she has to take over the business so he can keep his other ones going. She agreed but her father said that she can't be with you or anything because it'll get in between business." I told him

"Why couldn't she do his liquor or. Something else why this. She's going to end up dead Bryce. DEAD!" He said throwing his drink across his room.

"Jaden you were everyone's biggest enemy because you were good. People knew about her now imagine her." I said

"Look how many times I almost died Bryce. She doesn't know what she's getting herself into." He said starting to pace the room.

"I'll protect her Jaden. I'll keep an eye out for her. I promise you. I don't want her dear either and if she ends up dead I know I'm going you loose you and Adi." I said standing up

"Yes, please do Bryce. I have a secret plan too. But for now. I guess me and her won't ever be something again." He said

"Okay now, don't act like a teenage boy Jaden. She'll be okay." I said

He laughed.. at least he's going to be okay..
