~2 months 𝓁𝒶𝓉ℯ𝓇．．~

It's been 2 months.. Work with my dad has been hard, but Bryce helped out at first a lot. I feel bad for how I left things with Jaden.

I actually bought a huge house with the gang, which has been pretty fun. The house is almost as big as Jadens. Big doors big everything. It's more hidden and has nice views of the sunset. Sometimes when I lay in bed I think of the stuff I would do if he was here.. if Jaden was here.

I've never been on top of my game. Jaden's name still gets brought up and everyone is somehow even more scared of him or wants him dead.

I'm now taking 50% of my fathers drug business. I never knew my dad was in this type of business, but its been good so far.

I started out my morning well. I woke up at my parents house, ate breakfast and my dad drove us to his workplace.

"You know what to do today right, Maddie?" My father told me as he was filling a cup of water from the fountain.

"Yes father. I sure do." I say going into the upper level of the building

It was now around 5 pm when Bryce and Addison came into my office.

"Well hello there guys. I'm actually about to have a meeting." I say as I'm online shopping

"Look Maddie we gotta talk." Bryce says

"Can this wait? I have important costumers." I say while Addison cuts me off

"What's more important than Jaden." She says in this sad almost angry tone.

My heart dropped and my eyes stopped blinking. My fingers stopped scrolling and my face expressions went still.

What does she mean by "jaden"

"What do you mean Adds?" I tell her now having my clear attention.

"Fuck, how do I say this." Bryce says sitting back into the chair.

"Spit it out." I tell him getting more worried

"Oh my lord Bryce. Look Maddie ever sense you and Jaden ended things he went ghost besides his work. Which then people found out you took over your dads business." She says not breaking eye contact

"Thing is since Jaden is known, and your father is too just, he's more hidden. They kidnapped Jaden to try to get to you." Bryce said leaning forward

"Well then find him." I said trying to seem like I don't care

"No Maddie you don't get it. They'll only give us Jaden if you show up." Addison adds

"Why do they need me for?"

"Revenge. Everyone hates or is afraid of him. And they know his only weakness is you Maddison." Bryce says standing up

"I'll help you find him then." I say standing up too

"Good we can start tomorrow. Jaden's people are searching for him tonight and by tomorrow we will know where Jaden is at. Thank you Maddie. Even if you truly do hate him now." Bryce says while opening the door for him and Addison and leaving.

I decided to give my meeting up to my dad and I went home earlier.

The ride there I just kept imagining how they must have Jaden. Crazy how Mr. Tuff guy is getting kidnapped all of a sudden.

When I arrived homeJosh and Nessa where there.

"Oh hey, you're home extra early." Nessa says while closing the fridge door.

"Oh just thinking you know. The chef must be getting here soon to cook dinner Ness, hold off your cravings." I tell her sitting down at the island.

A good timing later Bryce and Addison walked in and we all just looked at Nessa. We don't like bringing nessa into this because Josh isn't really into this stuff. He's surrounded but he's been Jadens best friend since highschool so Jaden tends to leave him out. So he won't get hurt.

"Call me when dinner is ready I need a nap." I say getting up and taking the elevator to my room

I instantly texted someone and we were texting back and forth.

Her name was Alexis. She's one of Jadens hackers.

That night I couldn't really stay awake. Until finally around 2 A.M I went to bed

I woke up to Bryce knocking on my door. Which I knew was time to get ready.

I got up freshened up.

I put my hair up in a high ponytail. But on my pantsuit. Which is like a girl suit you know. I put on my black heels. And got my gun from the locked drawer in my room just incase.

The black van than showed up which had the hacker. A stunt driver. And extra guns just incase. Bryce, Addison and I then went outside loaded the van up with some more stuff and we went on our road trip to find Jaden.

Around an hour in a fell asleep on addison. That's when I woke up to Bryce shaking me

"Maddie Maddie. I got a text from the person who has Jaden." He said showing me the iPad we use for work.

"Well what does it say?" I said confused while moving right next to him

"It says for you to come alone." He said with his face expression going blank and him looking at me.

I looked at him and then I got an idea.

"Okay okay. How about I start driving from here so when I get there and stuff and they see it'll be me not anyone else."

He smiled at me and let out a laugh.

"You're funny, but okay get on the wheel."
