New Feelings

Suho dosent know when these feelings came to him. He's been noticing little things about Si eun recently and he doesn't know what to do with these thoughts.

He's noticed how when Si eun is studying he plays with his pen, he's noticed how Si eun cracks his knuckles all the time, he's noticed that Si euns eyes look especially pretty when in good lighting. Not that his eyes are never not pretty.

Like when he looks up at Suho and he looks like he's on the verge of tears, like any small insecure comment will send him over edge, but he still manages to look so beautiful.

"Beautiful" Suho thought.

What normal guy thinks of the word "beautiful" about one of his his guy friend ???

Suho is confused at how Si eun will change his demoner around him, he'll speak more, his eyes feel.. softer in a sense, he seems calmer in his presence, in a way Suho never sees him like with anyone else.

Sometimes he thinks about when he smiles. It's rare but it has happened. The first time was after the huge fight they had with that evil gil sul guy... It was such a strange feeling, that also being the first time Si eun was actually nice to Suho. His smile is like when you put on a nice warm sweater after it comes out the dyer. Or like when you laugh really hard after crying your heart out

His smile feels bitter sweet at times. He's always so quite and reserved. You almost never see him show any emotion other than sadness, anger, or just plain old Si eun. Seeing him smile is such a warm happy feeling but it also makes you wanna rip out your heart and just start crying.

Suho feels weak in heart think about this. Suddenly abridged from his thoughts when Si eun walks into the room, speak of the devil or whatever they say. At this point in time Suho was actually at Si euns house, sitting on his bed. It's not weird to think about how beautiful your guy friend is in his room, is it ?

Si eun hands a bowl to Suho without saying anything. Suho looks at the Mac n cheese and it makes him wonder. What are Si euns favorite foods ? Suho usually is the one to say what they should go out and eat but he let Si eun just make what ever was in his pantry. Does he eat Mac n cheese often ? Or was it the only food he has ? Who even does the shopping if his dad is never even home anyways ?

Suhos ripped from his absent daydreams again when he heard si eun speak up
" Do you not like Mac n cheese ? " ... Maybe Suho was staring a little too much at it. " No I like Mac n cheese it's just... " Suho trails off. Is it weird to say this to him ? Will he think he's strange ? " Just what ? " Si eun asks from the other side of the room sitting at his desk where he usually studies, it look more of a mess than usual. Is it because Suho showed up unanounced ? Would he even clean up if he knew he was coming ? " Why didn't you get yourself a bowl ? " Suho finally squeaks. It's the only way he can ask him about his food preferences without sounding like a total weirdo.

" I don't really like Mac n cheese " Si eun spoke " my dad still buys it because I liked it when I was like 6 " Si eun spoke in a soft tone. A tone Si eun would only do if you were close to him, it diverts from his usual stren and blunt one he uses everyday. Suho softened his gaze at Si eun. He felt bad for Si eun and his relationship with is parents. Suho dosent really know what happened between them other than the fact that their divorced and don't talk unless their forced to. But it doesn't help that Si eun looks like a sad puppy that was just kicked when he brings up the topic of family in general.

"Did I interrupt you studying ?" Suho speaks, trying to change the topic because he hates seeing Si eun upset. "No" Si eun was looking at him. But not in the way in how he always looks at Suho, in a soft kind way. Suho knows for a fact that Si eun hates being bothered when studying from the attempts Beom seok and Suho have made trying to get Si eun to play some shitty multiplayer phone game with them during break time. It made him feel all warm and gooey inside. It's a strange feeling.

Suho has had crushes before both girls and boys but he's never had a crush on Si eun before. He's a kind soul who puts up a hard exterior so no one can find his weak spots. He puts up a barrier, but not because he was hurt before, like yeah he's felt pain before but the barrier isn't because of that. It's because he doesn't want to get hurt. Suho knows this, because they are quite similar when you think about it. But because of the similarities, Suho feels a connection between him and Si eun that he's never even felt with his own grandmother.

Si eun sits there on his studying chair while Suho sits in his thoughts, Suhos only pulled out of them once again when Si eun cracks his neck. "You know that's bad for you right ?" Suho speaks up, slightly startling the other. "What else am I supposed to do when my neck hurts then ?" Si eun counter attacks "this." Suho gets up and walks over to Si eun and spins him slightly in his chair, then he starts giving him some back rubs. Si eun, startled by this, was a bit tense but after some time he relaxed in Suhos touch, almost melting into it.

Suhos a very touchy person plus he gives massages to his grandma all the time so this is nothing new for him. He did feel weird though, not a bad weird, more like a butterflies in your stomach but instead of butterflies it's hornets stabbing you like you about to hurl over and die. But in a good way. Even though that shouldn't be "in a good way". He's touchy yeah but he's never been this close to Si eun, he can almost smell the scent of his shampoo. Smells like blueberry.

"Feel better now ?" Suho spoke, breaking the comforting silence. "Yeah.." Si eun trailed off, bringing his hand to his neck as if he already misses Suhos touch. He doesn't look back up at Suho almost like he's scared that Suho will see right through him.

Suho walks back over to the bed where he left his discarded Mac n cheese and finally started to eat it. "Do you not have any hobbies or something ?" Suho says not really processing how mean that sounds till after it's been said. Si eun looks at him in a confused gaze. It's hard to read Si euns facial expressions unless you've been friends with him long enough. Suho loves that about him too, how he makes the tinest micro expressions that Suho feels he's the only one who can decipher.

"I draw sometimes, but mainly doddles" this puqies Suhos interest greatly. So he draws ? What does he draw ? How long has he been drawing ? "Can I see ?" Suho asked. There was a long drawn out silence before Si eun got up and walked over to a shelf with books filling the slots, he pulls out a small black sketchbook and walks over to Suho.

Si eun flips through the small book trying to find a good enough drawing to show. He flips the book around to show a page littered with doddles of lots of things but the one that caught Suhos attention was the "doddle" of a tiger, it was really detailed, it looked professional. "You sure you're not a professional artist ??" Si eun was shocked at the comment and closed the book and put it back. "Like I'm not joking, how long have you been drawing for ?" Suho continued, looking up at Si eun.

Si eun was short but because of Suhos terrible posture he had to Crane his neck a little bit to look Si eun in the eyes. Si eun looked down with his graceful eyes. When he looked a Suho he was sure he would die any second because of how piercing his eyes are.

"I only doodle if I get bored studying so,, a while." Si eun replied "Oh, so even the great study king Si eun gets bored of studying too ?" Suho mocked poking fun at Si eun for always having his nose in a book.

"You're such a nerd." Suho jokes as he stands up and ruffles Si euns hair. "Well I better get home, it's late" Suho stretches dramatically before he reaches Si euns bedroom door. "I'll see you tomorrow, okay ?" Suho said looking back to get one last look at the beautiful boy. Si eun nodded and Suho left the apartment complex.

On Suhos bike ride back home he thought back on how Si eun draws when he's bored. Has he ever drawn Suho before ? .. thats a stupid question.
