Don't Leave Me

Robin's pov

I ran into the mall and saw an injured y/n. "Y/N!" I said running over to when she was sitting against the wall. Her leg was covered in blood, from her knee down "What happened!?" I asked crouching in front of her. "I hurt my leg while trying to help El with the mind flayer" she said wincing. "I'm fine though, help me up" she added. "Y/n no. I'm not helping you up so you can run around you need to go somewhere safe" I said grabbing her hand. "Billy's found us Rob there's nothing we can do but fight" the determination in her voice scared me "Now help me up or I'll get up myself" she demanded me. I pulled her up so she could stand on one foot, then flinging my arm around her shoulder. I gave her to Max to make sure, she went somewhere safe. I walked over to leave with Steve, Dustin and Erica. "Rob wait!" She called attempting to stand up but failing. I turned around catching her "Can we talk just real quick?" She whispered. We found a quiet hallway and I sat down against the wall letting her rest against me. "What is it, my love?" I asked "Rob. We both know that one of us could very well die tonight. And I didn't want the last thing the other one remembers to be a small, stupid argument... " She said very serious. "Y/n don't say that everything is gonna be ok" I said reassuring her. "But what if it's not Rob. We can't be sure about anything. I know it hurts to think about but there's always a chance." She sighed. After a few seconds she faced me wincing in pain. "I love you" she whispered "I love you too" I grabbed her face cupping it in my hands. Making out we held each other close. "Please be careful ok?" She said pulling away "I will you, too" I told her kissing her cheek.

(Note fast forward to when Steve and Robin came back to the mall)

I watched in horror as Billy carried Y/n over his shoulder "Y/N, NO! I heard Max and El yell in terror running after her. Y/n just stayed perfectly silent as if she didn't care anymore. As she hung there she looked up making eye contact with me only for a second before Billy threw her in front of the Mind Flayer. I sprinted around upstairs looking for the stairs when I finally got down it was Y/n's limp body next to Billy's and the mind flayer's all three dead. Blood everywhere. "Y/N" I screeched running to where she lay, Max cried in El's arm. "No no no. NO!" I cried picking up Y/n's bleeding figure. "I'm sorry my love" she croaked before closing her eyes "Don't leave me Y/n! Don't do it! Please wake up!" I shouted holding her body close. "Y/n please" I sobbed loudly "don't leave me" I whispered barely getting it out between gasps. "I love you, I love you so much don't die on me...please I can't do it without you."
