Kagaya was sitting on his balcony once again late at night. Kagaya insisted not going to bed after what he heard this day..

Tanjiro Kamado, claimed to see and speak to Y/n the Phoenix Hashira. Kagaya could only hope that this night, Y/n would return this night.

It was almost midnight, But Kagaya didn't move a muscle. He may not be able to see Y/n's face..but he wanted to feel him again..he didn't want Y/n to leave his side any longer, he was starting to get more worried by the second.

A sudden breeze flew passed Kagaya making the black haired male open his eyes widened in worry. Someone was in the room with him.

But the sense wasn't that of a stranger.'no..' Kagaya thought. Kagaya soon turned his head to see nothing, but he didn't have to see to realize who was bowing before him with a sword steady in they're hands.

Kagaya teared up and stood up quickly tumbling a few times. Y/n saw how he was struggling, he wanted to help but once he saw Kagaya do it by himself he stopped himself.

Kagaya stayed silent as tears rolled down his face."Y/n.."Kagaya said. Y/n lifted up his head to stare at the man. Y/n couldn't help but start crying.

"Kagaya..I couldn't..I couldn't.."Y/n tried to say but couldn't get the words out without choking on them. Before Y/n could even say anything he was taken by surprise when the male ran to him and hugged him throwing them both on the floor.

Kagaya was holding on tight to Y/n's uniform and crying uncontrollably. Y/n was shocked for a moment before he hugged Kagaya back also crying.

"Your back..You actually came back.."Kagaya sobbed out. Y/n lifted his head to see Kagaya's face now flooded with tears. Y/n wipe the tears gently off his cheeks as he leaned into the boys touch.

"I missed you.."Kagaya said quietly into the boy's uniform. "I missed you too Kagaya..I really did.."Y/n said. Y/n rested his head on Kagaya's smiling in the process.

'I miss this..'Y/n thought to himself. Kagaya soon let go of the hug and wiped away his tears smiling at the boy. That smile made Y/n frown.

"No more..I won't lose you like that again.."Kagaya said grabbing Y/n's hands. It was like that for a while until Y/n pulled his hands away, confusing Kagaya.

"Y/n? Is everything alright?"Kagaya asked. Y/n went quiet no knowing how to tell Kagaya the truth.

"Is it me..?"Kagaya asked. Y/n's eyes widened as he looked at Kagaya in disbelief. "Is it because..I look different now.."Kagaya continued.

"No! Don't say such a thing..none of this is your fault.."Y/n said. "No..None of this is your fault.."Y/n whispered. Y/n grabbed onto his uniform tightly as his hands started to shake.

'Y/n, come on! Say it god damn it!' Y/n scolded in his head. Y/n soon felt a warm touch on his hands. He looked up to see Kagaya smiling softly at him grabbing his hand's gently.

Y/n teared up at his smile. "Kagaya..I..I can't stay.."Y/n said. Hearing those words made Kagaya's heart shatter. "Y-You what."Kagaya said. "I can't stay...I want to..I want to stay with you forever but..Something happened and...I don't think you'll think of me the same again."Y/n said. The tears that were stuck in the boys eyes now falling down his face.

"No..Stop it. I don't care if you changed! Please Y/n.."Kagaya said. "Kagaya-"Y/n tried to say but was soon interrupted."I can't be alone anymore..please..your all that I have!"Kagaya said as he started crying again.

Y/n hates this..he hated seeing Kagaya cry, it was his worse fear. "Kagaya..please, don't do this to me. I hate seeing you cry.."Y/n said, but Kagaya couldn't help it.

You had just come back, and now your going off again. Y/n couldn't bring himself to admit what had happened.

"Don't leave me.."Kagaya said. Y/n felt his world shattering just from those words. 

"I have no choice.."Y/n said. He soon took Kagaya's hands and put his sword in his hands. Kagaya was a little confused until he felt a certain pressure at the end of the blade.

Kagaya's eyes widened as he moved the blade away."Y/n..what are you doing.."Kagaya said. Y/n smiled softly at the black haired male. "Kagaya..Do you remember, when we were so young and you asked me that question.."Y/n said.

"Y/n..What would you do if you turned into a demon?"

Kagaya was terrified from that memory as his hands became shaky. Y/n knelt down in one legs as he bowed his head ready for his life to be gone.

Instead of feeling pain, Y/n heard the sound of his sword being thrown to the ground. Y/n looked up to see Kagaya walking towards him.

Kagaya then knelt down in front of the boy cupping his face. Y/n flushed once realizing how close Kagaya was. Kagaya then kissed Y/n on the lips catching the boy by surprise.

Y/n teared up once again and kissed Kagaya back wrapping his arms around the male. Kagaya's kiss was so gentle..And so warm. Y/n felt safe around the man's arms.

Kagaya soon let go of the kiss and smiled at Y/n. "If you can remember that question, then you should've remembered my answer " Kagaya said soon kissing Y/n's cheek.

"I'll love you no matter what, and I will not kill you.."Kagaya said. Y/n smiled with happy tears as he hugged Kagaya. "I love you too.."Y/n said. Kagaya never felt so happy in his life hearing those words.

Y/n felt happy, knowing how he could still love a happy life with Kagaya.' Heh..Tanjiro is going to ask a lot of questions' Y/n thought.

"What about the Hashira's Kagaya?" I asked. Kagaya stood up and walked to his balcony and covering the the door with a large piece of Fabric." I will talk to them, they will understand"Kagaya said.

Y/n nodded and smiled. 'Everything will be the same as before..Alright..'Y/n thought. "Hm..how weird..I thought this is where the balcony was.." Kagaya said.

Y/n laughed a little and turned Kagaya in the direction where the balcony was. "Ah, I see..how odd"Kagaya said soon finishing the fabric.

Y/n soon helped Kagaya walk to his bed and lay down. As he was about to leave Kagaya pulled Y/n down with him and held him tightly."Stay.."Kagaya said.

Y/n was a little surprised, but then smiled and held Kagaya tightly."I love you Y/n.."Kagaya said."I love you too Kagaya.."Y/n said.

Soon they both fell asleep...

But do not worry this is not the end! Consider this the end of a demon slayer season! The next chapter will be season two! Where Y/n and Kagaya stay together for a while until Y/n finds something extraordinary..something Muzan has been wanting for a long time..
