Meeting you all (part 3)

"Aoi! Can you bring me more bandages please!" Shinobu yelled out to the girl. She was treating a demon slayer who had gotten injured while fighting in the mountains, apparently this one was almost dying.

Shinobu sighed as she held her head in your hand. 'Muichiro isn't getting better either..I haven't seen him ever since the news about Y/n..' Shinobu thought.

"Y/n.." Shinobu said.

The door suddenly opened making Shinobu fix her posture. A hand held out the bandages as Shinobu smiled not turning around. "Thank you Aoi-" Shinobu said as she reached for the bandages. Once she did, she accidentally touched the hands making her flinch in surprise. They're so cold..yet so comforting too.

Shinobu turned her head completely to see Y/n standing there with the bandages. Shinobu stood up quickly and stood at the male before her. "Y/n?.."Shinobu said quietly.

Y/n observed Shinobu carefully, trying to remember her. black wavy hair that fades to dark purple, styled at the back of her head into a flat yakai-maki bun, along with purple dull eyes that only have a little bit of shine left.

Wait..Those eyes..that smile..Y/n saw that exact same smile before...

"Kanae!" Y/n yelled while running up to the flower Hashira. Kanae looked behind her to see Y/n running up to her. Shinobu was also sitting besides her sister watching.

Y/n stopped in front of the girls and bowed before smiling at them both. "Good morning and goodbye to you two" Y/n said."Good morning-"Kanae started. "Goodbye?!" Shinobu yelled out.

Y/n let out an awkward chuckle as a sweat drop fell down his hair. "Well, I guess goodbye means something different..more like a, see you soon" Y/n said. "Going on a mission? I thought the Master had strict rules about you going alone" Kanae said.

"I know, but I was able to convince Master Ubuyashiki. You see..I'm not going on a mission, I'm going on a search. This search might as well take years to finish, So I wanted to wish everyone a goodbye before leaving " Y/n said.

Kanae smiled and walked up to Y/n."I see, well then. I wish you luck on your journey, and hope to celebrate once you return!" Kanae said."Sister! You can't just let him leave like that! What about his arm! The Master can't be this reckless!" Shinobu yelled out.

"Now Now Shinobu, Y/n is willing to go out for years without returning..do you really think yelling at him will do any good? I know you don't want him to go, but it will be okay" Kanae said. Shinobu crossed her arms and pouted.

Y/n smiled softly at the pouty Shinobu and walked up to her patting her head with his bandages arm. Shinobu turned to the male and switched his arm with the other one."Don't use that one you dummy.."Shinobu said. "I promise I'll be back as soon as I can Shinobu, you have my promise " Y/n said.

He soon pulled away and looked at the two.

"Goodbye you two.."

Out of nowhere, tears started rolling down Y/n's cheeks catching Shinobu by surprise. "Y-You look just like her now.."Y/n said. "You know..I was still a human when I heard the news..It hurt..it hurt so much, I imagine that you went through it too" Y/n said.

Shinobu's eyes widened in surprise at what Y/n was saying. Y/n tried his best to pull himself together, but just the thought of Kanae being dead sickens him. To his surprise, Shinobu ran up to Y/n hugging him tightly as tears were running down her face now.

Y/n hugged back. "I couldn't protect her..I'm sorry! It was all my fault.."Shinobu said. She remembered seeing her sister die in her arms..and she couldn't do anything about it, only see the demon who killed her right before her eyes..Rainbow eyes, locking with Purple eyes.

Y/n patted Shinobu's head. "It's not your fault Shinobu, You we're still young, nobody would know what to do in that situation " Y/n said. "You don't understand..When I thought I lost her, I thought I lost you too..I thought I was alone.."Shinobu said. Y/n smiled softly and wiped the tears off of Shinobu's face.

Your never alone, in fact I might as well tell you a secret" Y/n said. "Tomioka wanted to be your friend in the past you know.." Y/n said. Shinobu was confused at what Y/n said. "But,he doesn't like anyone.."Shinobu said.

"He wasn't like that in the past, he actually found you quite powerful, but ever since..the accident with his friend..he never wanted to do friends again" Y/n said. Shinobu started to understand a little bit as she let go of the hug. Thank you for telling me Y/n..and, it's good to see you back " Shinobu said.

Gyomei was in the woods looking at the demon he had just slayed."d-damn you.." the demon said. Gyomei took his praying beads and started to pray over the corpse taking the demon by surprise.

"I apologize for how your life has turned out to be, I hope that when you get reincarnated you become a successful human.." Gyomei said. The demon felt tears prick his eyes at Gyomei's words before turning into ashes.

Out of nowhere, Gyomei's crows landed on Gyomei's shoulder. The crow told the news about Y/n returning. Hearing that made Gyomei's tears go away. "I see, Thank you" Gyomei said. "Y/n came back huh? I shall greet him when I return.." Gyomei said. He didn't seem surprised at all. He felt relieved though..knowing how one of the Hashira's still have a long life ahead of them.

Y/n continued to walk while looking at the sky. 'I don't have much time left..I'm going to have to see only one more before I have to get to shade' Y/n thought.

He soon stopped in front of a small manner. What really confused him was why all the lights were on. Everyone should've been to bed by now..it's two in the morning..

Y/n went up to the door and knocked. 'This feels familiar..' Y/n thought. No one answered the door. Y/n started to worry once he saw one of the lights go out. Someone was here, they just didn't want to talk. Y/n wanted to respect that, but he needed to remember who this person was.

Y/n slowly opened the door and hid in the shadows. He looked around the Manner, but he couldn't find anyone. Y/n knew someone was here, the lights wouldn't turn off by themselves.

Y/n went to the stairs and started walking up, feeling that familiar feeling again. Once he got to the top of the stairs he was met with a door. That's when he sensed something off.

He opened the door slowly and saw a boy that looked younger than him. He had bags under his eyes, black hair with blue tips, and was looking at the floor. He turned his head towards the door and tilted his dad in confusion.

"A demon?.."The boy said grabbing his Katana. "What are you doing here..."

Oh what?! Y'all thought I was gone huh?! Wrong!! Wrong!! And Wrong!! I was able to get my account back oh also- "The moment" account was me- just in case people thought it wasn't. I'm so glad to be back and finishing this story..have a good day and night
