"Are you sure?" Yuki calls from the car, the motor on.
Kamui, who stayed out, nods. "Yeah, I'm taking the train."
He turns to Himiko, who hands him an envelope. "Here." The brunette gives it to Kamui. "30 000 yen."
"I'm sure it was supposed to be 28 000 yen." Kamui frowns.
"It was easier to gather." Himiko winks in an exaggerated manner.
She thanks them, pocketing the money. "I guess this is it?" She smiles slightly.
"Oh... Don't talk like we won't see each others anymore." Himiko leans over Yuki to get closer to the window. "We need you for the next Comiket."
"And if you come by our neighborhood, come say hello." Yuki smiles, unfazed by his sister's action.
Mizuki takes a peek. "See you in 6 months."
Yuki starts to drive away, waving at the cosplayer. "Bye bye!" He shouts in Engrish.
"Bye." Kamui waves back with a British accent.
'Now. How do I get back to Fuyuki?'
-------------
"It was the most terrifying Comiket I ever took part in." Wendy shivers, her tail swaying tensely.
Jimini chimes in from Lara's pocket. "Well, you kind of played with fate. I wonder what was going on in your mind for you to think that glaring all day long at a potential inquisitor was a good idea."
Wendy looks away in shame. "Sorry..."
Lara huffs. "She still tried to kill us."
Kamui lands right in front of them without a sound, startling the two girls.
The lamia puts her tail in a defensive position. "Y-You again?"
"I wanted to give you this." She hands them her pay.
"What is it?" The lamia grabs it carefully.
Kamui's face stays blank. "Money."
Jimini's head pops from his pocket. "Thank you, but I think you should kee-"
"Happy new year." She vanishes with a powerful gust of wind.
"..."
"Oh... god..." Wendy mumbles.
Lara glances in her direction, the envelope still in her hands. "What?"
The witch shakes her head with a trembling breath. "This madwoman uses magic to propel herself."
"And?" Jimini blinks.
"She does not cast any spell." Wendy explains. "She just makes magical energy... explode to propulse herself."
Jimini puts a paw to his chin. "It seems to be working well. Nobody ever tried something that simple before?"
"They did, and they exploded." Lara and Jimini's eyes widen at Wendy's answer. "It would be like using dynamite to propulse yourself. You would go far and fast, yes, just not alive."
"With such a strong guardian, we won't have to worry about the church anymore." The salamander smiles.
The two woman agree, sharing his relief.
He then clears his throat. "I still think we should give her this envelope back."

'Strange... Fuyuki is not on this map.' Kamui ponders at the train station.
She is currently looking for a train back to her hometown, but there are no line available.
'Maybe it is because you cannot go directly from here to Fuyuki?' She wonders, eyeing a train stopping nearby. 'This one stops at Tokyo's main station.'
She might find a line there?
Without thinking more, she squeezes herself in.
-----------
One of the good sides of riding a train filled to the brim with people is that nobody will ask for your ticket.
'Not that they could do anything to stop me.' She muses, an immobile pillar unyielding to exterior pressure (other people in the train).
She glances at the display before her. '2 more stops.'
Breathin with her mouth, the stench to much for her poor nose, Kamui scoffs. 'The problem with riding a train full of people, is that it stinks badly.'
----------
'Fuyuki, Fuyuki, Fuyuki...' Kamui scrolls through the various destinations available on an automatic ticket dispenser.
She frowns, rereading every destinations one by one for the third time. 'Where is it?'
After the fourth attempt, Kamui gives up on the ticket machine.
She looks left then right, her eyesight locking on her target.
"Excuse me sir." She calls for a high schooler sitting on a bench.
The young man looks up, analyzing her outfit.
'Ah yes, the cosplay.' Kamui points at his phone. "Could I do a quick search with you phone, please?"
He nods without saying a word, handing her the device.
"Thank you." Kamui enters Fuyuki city in the search bar.
But the only results are for a neighborhood in Tokyo.
'I'll find it in Maps.' She opens the application, manually zooming on her hometown's location.
She gulps, quitting the app and giving the phone back to the owner. "Thank you again." The blonde leaves.
'It doesn't exist.' Kamui walks out of the station. 'There is no Fuyuki, there are no magus, and there is no other me here.'
Wandering in Tokyo's street without any goal, Kamui wonders what she should do now.
'I'm homeless, poor, and I am paperless.' She looks at her ID card. 'It's just a very convincing fake now.'
She is now an illegal immigrant.
From another dimension, not country.
Yes, but still an illegal immigrant on the eyes of the law.
Kamui chuckles nervously. 'I need to find yakuzas or something to forge some documents?'
She cannot threaten a public worker into making some for her. It would be amoral, and she would have to threaten everyone working on her file to make sure everything works fine.
Putting her unusable ID card back in its designated pocket, Kamui's fingers brush over a small card.
'Jemini...' The blonde reads the address on the card. 'If these non-humans were able to integrate society, it means they had to make legal documents.'
Now, it is almost 6 pm. 'Plenty of time left to find him.' She enters an alleyway before jumping on the rooftops, running in the direction of Jimini's neighborhood.
Before stopping, sighing.
'I should ask for direction first.'
