Mistkit was sneaking out of camp for the third time.

What?? Cloudkit thought. How stupid is that kit??

He clearly hadn't heard the yowl- yes, Cloudkit would wander into a forest if someone was hurt, but- they were just kits! The yowl would have been caused by, like, a wolf or something, but THEY WERE JUST KITS!! Wolves were like, a million times bigger than them!

Which, CloudKit thought, is another reason why I shouldn't be following him.

But, Mistkit was family, even if he appeared to hate her for no reason. And, what else would she do? Eat the chicken, like she did EVERY SINGLE DAY? Plus, Valleystar called her a little princess when he gave it to her, and she was prepared to starve herself if he did that again.

CloudKit jumped over a rock before promptly walking off, which gave her a severe case of déjà vu. She walked over several streams, before spotting Mistkit's white, perfect fur and amazing green and orange eyes, with light gray stripes and a black diamond near his throat.

I would KILL to look like that. CloudKit thought. He kinda looks like one of those emo cats. And those grumpy eyes. Amazing. I don't even know how he got those black silverwire to twist around his limbs so AMAZINGLY.

She had no idea how he kept his fur in such a pristine condition- at the moment CloudKit looked like a swamp monster, with little twigs, rocks and mud over her.

Mistkit was sniffing the air and looking around, confused.

Cloudkit knew why. This was the Prisoner's hollow, a hole under a near-dead oak that some Twoleg kit had played in once, where ValleyClan kept their prisoners- eh, prisoner. He was named Lion of the Haybales, and there he was, beating his head with his leg whilst yelping.

Is he OK? Cloudkit thought, worried. Did he go mad?

She hoped not. Lion was friendly, for the most part, and she rather liked him.

Is madness contagious?

Abandoning all thoughts of stealth, she lunged forward at Mistkit and slid to a stop. Spitting, Mistkit turned around eyes wide.

"Mistkit! Go to camp and get Crystalwish!" Cloudkit mewed. "I'll stay here and try to talk to him!!!"

Then, a familiar black-coated warrior picked her up silently.

"You will do none of the sorts." Nightwatcher put Cloudkit in a small indentation where she couldn't get out, whilst Mistkit spat and tried to dodge, before being picked up and popped inside too. "You kits stay here, and I'll get Crystalwish. And, also," He added briskly, "I'll speak with Valleystar for a punishment." He glanced at them one last time before sprinting to camp.

A few seconds went by, and Cloudkit realised she'd been staring at his brother. She harrumphed and looked away. Then she waited some more. Lion had stopped howling - dead? - and the sun had started to set. Still no sign of Nightwatcher.

A/N- Sudden increase in writing ability over a year lol. I made them more childish and stuff

Was that the wind, or an animal? Cloudkit had no idea. But whatever it is, it was howling- and it was coming closer. "Stay here," Mistkit hissed. He propelled himself over the indentation, flapping his hind-paw wildly in Cloudkit's face. Mistkit very dramatically stood on the ledge, glaring back at Cloudkit. "Imona go INVESTIGATE." He turned back, blew a raspberry, and jumped out of sight.

Well, Cloudkit wasn't going to stand for that. She counted to ten and scrambled up the ledge. Mistkit was long gone by then. Hmph, She thought. I'll go by MYSELF.

Cloudkit tumbled down the ledge and jumped up. "HAHA! GO away sCARY MonstER!" Then she ran off into the forest.
