Mistkit was traversing the unknown, all alone.

At least, he wished he was.

RUSTle RustLE rusTLE-

"Ugh, Cloudkit!" He yowled. "I know you're there!"

Cloudkit emerged from the bushes, a sheepish grin on her face, the yellow star shape glowing in the light.

"DON'T you know what STEALTH mode is??" He demanded. "I swear, you're going to be a POOP of a warrior apprentice next moon!"

Cloudkit's face fell. "Holy StarClan." She mewed. "Are we that old already? I still haven't decided..."

Mistkit was trying to NOT look suspicious, but he couldn't help it. "Decide WHAT?""

"Uh... I kinda want to be a medicine cat..." She muttered. "But we have one already..."

"MEDICINE CAT?" Mistkit exploded. "BE A WARRIOR! MEDICINE CATS DO NOTHING ALL DAY!"

Cloudkit lashed her tail but didn't reply.

Lion hadn't been in the prisoner hollow. He must have run away- to be honest, Mistkit didn't know why he hadn't before. It wasn't like they had anyone guarding it.

Cloudkit stopped. "You see that tree?"

Mistkit nodded. "Yeah, what about it?"

"I swear we just went past it." Cloudkit grinned. "I marked it!"

"That- ew." Mistkit's nose wrinkled. "Just ew."

Why didn't I think about that?

But, indeed, that was the very same tree they had passed twice now, Mistkit realised. He slumped down on a tree stump.  "Well, we're lost."

In the trees to their right, they heard a feminine voice mew- "Could someone help us? I swear ValleyClan- in the future- is right here."

Cloudkit and Mistkit's ears perked up.
