Bonus: Valentine's Day

01: Dinner date

It was February 14th, Valentine's day. Goro and Ren had started dating mid last year, and this was their first Valentine's together. The evening started at a romantic and expensive dinner Goro picked out for the couple. Ren opted to wear a nice blazer and button up combo, his hair was nicer than usual and he didn't have his glasses on. Goro was wearing a blazer as well, but one more fitting to his tastes. He sported trendy accessories too like a new watch and bracelet. They enjoyed the romantic dinner for two, and enjoyed the time together even more. The dinner was a great distraction from the stress of college and their jobs. The dimly lit restaurant along with it's quiet music made for an amazing atmosphere. Before their food arrived, they held hands together and sipped on the bottle of wine Goro bought.

After their dinner, the two headed to the underground mall in Shibuya. Instead of brainstorming for gift ideas, the couple decided they'd get gifts for each other at the same time. This ensured they'd both love their gifts. Ren got Goro a leather pen case, and gloves for cycling. Goro got Ren a stylish new pair of blue light glasses and a cook book with recipes from around the world. Before their date ended, the couple stopped at the florist and bought each other a small bouquet. Before it got too late, the couple headed home together. When home, they got into bed for the night and cuddled up, falling asleep in each other's arms.

02: Staying at Home

Ren and Goro decided the regular cliche of going out to a fancy dinner was far too cheesy for their liking. Instead, they opted to stay at Goro's apartment and spent the evening together. Ren went to the grocery store earlier in the day and bought everything for a homemade meal. He also bought a bouquet of flowers for Goro as a bonus. Ren prepared their meal while Goro picked out movies for them to watch. They watched the newest Featherman movie while eating dinner. When they finished their meal, they cuddled up on the couch. They watched movie after movie and spent the evening in each other's arms. Sure, they did this all the time, but it felt special given the day.

As the evening went on, the pair grew tired. Eventually, Goro dozed off in Ren's arms. Ren turned off the TV and held Goro in his arms. After a nice moment of holding his lover, Ren gently picked up Goro in his arms and walked him to their bedroom. He placed Goro down in bed and tucked him in before joining the brunette in bed. He scooted towards the other and cuddled him. He planted a kiss on Goro's head and fell asleep shortly after.

03: Valentines

set in a scenario when the phantom thieves were active and Akechi was on the team, does not follow the canon timeline.

Ren and Goro had been hanging out a lot lately, whether intentional or not, the pair spent a lot of time together. During the day, they were Ren and Goro, highschool students. But during the night, they were Crow and Joker, phantom thieves. The pair often went to mementos together, even if the others didn't come along. They couldn't get far into mementos without Mona, but it was a nice training regimen.

One day in February, Ren had an idea. He had slowly felt his feelings for Goro grow over time, and he knew Valentine's was quickly approaching. He had the perfect idea. He got in touch with Yusuke and waited for the artist to finish his work. On 2/12, he got what he needed from Yusuke before heading into mementos with Goro. They fought shadow after shadow, their competitive spirit leading the way. Eventually, they found a safe room. The two sat for a moment, watching the eerie trains pass through the platform. After enough of a break, Goro got up and headed towards the next level. Before he could get down the escalator though, Joker stopped him.

"Crow wait, I have something I need to give you."

"Oh, if it's just healing supplies, then I don't need them I'm quite okay."

"No it's.." Joker trailed off, Goro looked at him and realized something was off, "I have something special to give you." Joker strolled closer to Goro before handing him something small. It was a piece of paper? It wasn't just any piece of paper, it was a calling card.

Goro froze, ice running through his veins. Why was Joker handing him a calling card. "Joker I-"

"Just go ahead and read it before you freak out." Jokers usual suave and charming demeanor seemed to be replaced with nervousness. Crow nodded and held up the card so it was easier to read it.

"Crow, member of the phantoms, you have stolen the heart of Joker, our leader, and haven't returned it. Ruling over one's heart cannot be taken lightly. We'll steal your heart, Valentine's is quickly approaching.

Goro let out a deep sigh. He put a hand to his forehead and only let out a chuckle. Who knew the leader of the Phantom Thieves really was this charming. Dorky, but charming no less.

"Joker, you never cease to amaze me. Does this mean you want to be my Valentine? If that's the case, then I accept." Joker pulled Crow in for a hug, and the two continued on their mementos trip. After the excursion, they discussed plans for the following days.
