chapter 7

"Y/n you must be hunger come sit down and eat." Mary said as she made you a plate of food.
"Thank you Mary it smelled delicious." As you went in the kitchen as Elvis went upstairs. You heard ringing coming from the living room. You sat there stuffing your face with the food in front of you. You heard Elvis on the phone but he didn't sound happy.
"Y/n come here please." You heard Elvis call from the living room. You got up from your chair and went his way.
"Yes is there something wrong." As you look at his face with confusion.
"It's for you." He said in tone that scared you. You pick up the phone to your ear.
"Hello?"
"Y/n I'm sorry but we really need to talk." You heard Jack talk from the other line.
"Oh Jack look I'm sorry but I really don't want to talk about it." You said as you look up to see Elvis looking at you.
"Please y/n I need some answers." You was about to say something but Elvis grabbes the phone from your hand.
"Hey Jack it's Elvis she can't talk right now."
You look up at him in shock. He didn't say anything as Jack was talking. You couldn't tell what he was talking about but Elvis was unhappy.
"I see will that would be all for now bye." As Elvis hangs up the phone and looks at you.
"What did he say." You ask but Elvis just keep looking at you.
"When did y'all go on a date?" He's eyes left from your to the ground.
"Huh date we never been on a date." You said in confusion.
"Is that so. So he is lying?" Elvis look mad mad you have never seen.
"Elvis what do you mean we went to the movie ones and you knew about that one." He look back at you and cup your face in his hands.
"Y/n I don't want you hanging around him anymore ok." He said as he looks deep in my soul.
"Yes but my friends are friends with him." He put his hands down and gave a small smile.
"Y/n I really like you and I hope you feel the same."
"Of course I do Elvis we are just friends I promise." He look up at me and went in for a hug.
"I know Darling but tell me if he does anything ok."
"Yes sir." I said as I look up into his eyes.
"Good now you can go back to eating we have some baking to do." He said as he gave me a big smile and a small kiss on my forehead. I stood there as Elvis went pass me into the kitchen. I touch the spot on my forehead that Elvis kiss. My cheeks got red as I stood there.

After we got done eating I ask Mary if we can bake some cookies. She didn't mind she ask for help but Elvis said he wants to spend alone time with me. Just like that Mary left the kitchen.
"Do you know how to make cookies Mr Presley?" I said as I crossed my arms.
"Well no but I was hoping you can teach me." He said as he walks up to me.
"I would be happy to." I said giving a big smile. We work on getting the cookies together after we mixed all the ingredients in the bowl.
"Y/n can I ask some questions." He stop mixing and looked over at me.
"Ya I maybe have the answer." I said smiling looking up at him. He laughed at that.
"Well you said I should get to know you more till we start something so tell me about yourself." He said as he walks over to me.
"Well what is there you want to know." I ask as I put the bowl down.
"Well everything like have you lived here in Memphis for your whole life?"
"No I'm from Oklahoma I move here when I was 14. My dad got a really good job so here we are." I said smiling.
"What about your mom?" He ask as he sat down in a chair. My eyes started to water up. Elvis saw that and went my way.
"Y/n I'm sorry we don't have to talk about it." As he puts his hand on mine.
"No it's ok I just get a little sad from it but she left when I was 2 then came back when I was 9. Then she took my sister and said a lot of things to her about our Father." I said trying not to cry.
"Honey I'm so sorry." Elvis said as he gave me a hug.
"It's ok it's in the past but I do really miss my sister." As Elvis let's go of me.
"Ya I know how that feels I had a brother but he passed away at birth." Elvis said as he try not to let his voice shake. "I'm sorry to hear that." As I put my hand on his shoulder.
"Man it got sad quick." I said in a small laugh. Elvis gave a small laugh back.
"It did didn't it." He said as he gave me a smile.
*BEEP BEEP*
"oh it's time to put the cookies in the oven." As I walk over to the trays to put them in the oven. For the reminder of the time we talk about each other getting to know more and more about one of another. We put the cookies in a plastic bags. I went up to my room to get fresh up.
I came down the stairs to see my dad and Elvis talking.
"Y/n there you are." Your dad said as he walk up to you to give you a hug.
"How was your trip." I ask with a big smile on my face.
"Very tried." As he let go of me.
"You have been good for the Presley's right." He ask as he gave me a look.
"Yes dad." As I put my hands to my face from embarrassment.
"She be amazing sir." Elvis said as he walk up beside me.
"That's good and I have wonderful news y/n. Your brother is coming back for a few days from college." I look up at him with a big smile.
"Wait really." I said with joy. My brother went to college when we got to Graceland. Elvis help out with everything which was wonderful of him.
"I can't wait to see him." As I gave the biggest smile ever.
"Oh look at the time we need to get going." Elvis said as he puts a hand on my shoulder.
My dad didn't like the sound of that.
"Where are y'all going?" He ask as he cross his arms.
"To pick up Ashley and then go to dyamond house to give her these cookies. She wasn't at school today so I thought she might be sick." I said as I went into the kitchen to grab the bags of cookies.
"Oh I see that's kind of you y/n." My dad said as I came back into the living room.
"Ya you have a wonderful daughter sir." Elvis said as he grabs his keys.
"That I do. We'll have fun tell her I hope she gets better."
"Of course love you bye." I said as me and Elvis walk out the door. Elvis went to the car and open the door for me.
"Oh thank you sir." I said with a laugh.
"Your welcome ma'am." He said as he shuts the door. He got in and started the car.
"Man what do you think my friend would do when they find out that I'm staying with the elvis Presley." I said as I buckle up.
"I don't know but I hope it's something good." He said with a laugh.
"Ya me to." We went down the road to where Ashley lives. We got to her house as Elvis stops the car.
"I'm going to wait out here if you need anything yell my name." He said with a serious tone
"Elvis I will be fine she my friend." As I got out of the car.
"I know honey but I'm very protective of you if anything happens I will rip there god damn throats out." He said in frustration. I look at him in shock.
"Thank you elvis I will be ok I promise." I said as I gave him a kiss on the cheek and close the door. Through the window I can see how red his cheeks got.
I got up to the door and gave it a knock. The door swings open.
"Ashleyyy." I said as I went in to a hug.
"Y/nnnn." As she hug me back. I took a step back and took a look at her. She was Salvadorian her light brown skin with her dark black wavey/curly hair.
"Come on in and nice car when did you get that. Who in the car huhhh. Whit don't tell me is it Jack?" She ask as she drags me in.
"Well let's just say it's not jack. But are you ready?"
"Oh yes let me go tell my mom." As she went around the corner. I heard people talking in Spanish in the next room. Ashley came back around the corner.
"My mom said hi by the way." She said as we went up to the door. We step outside and started to walk to the car but I grabbed Ashley hand.
"Ashley I need to tell you something." As she turned around to look at me.
"Oh is something wrong." She ask in concern.
"No but that person in the car is someone who will Shock you." I said as I look at the ground.
"Y/n it's ok it's not like Elvis Presley is in there." She said as she turned around to see Elvis smiling at her with his window down.
"Well why would you say that." Elvis said with a big smile.
Ashley face was more then shocked she stood there with her mouth out and staring at Elvis.
"Your elvis Presley." She said as she went up to the window to see if it's actually him.
"Wow I would have thought it was Jack." She said as she turned to look at me. Elvis didn't like the sound of that.
"Wait jack?" Elvis said with a tone.
"Oh yes Jack is a classmate who has the biggest crush on y/n and I believe y/n has one to." She said as she turned look at me.
"Haha Ashley I never said that." I said in frustration.
"Y/n come here please." Elvis said with a tone I didn't know was mad or sad.
"Yes." I said as I got closer.
"Come here I need to tell you something." As I got even more closer. Then he whisper in my ear. My eyes got wide as I look back at him. He had the biggest smile.
"Come on we need to go." I said as I look at Ashley.
"What what did he say." She ask shaking my shoulders.
"It's nothing come on we need to go." I said as I look away from her.
"Come on what did he say your face is so red it had to be something." She ask not giving up.
I turned around and went to the front seat.
Ashley got in the back. Ashley was talking her head off asking Elvis questions. But Elvis didn't care he loved it he had a big smile on him the whole ride.
We made it to dyamond house as we Park out side.
"Are you coming Elvis?" Ashley ask as she unbuckled. Elvis looks at me.
"You can if you want to but her parents are a big fan so they might hound you."
"Well that's something I get everyday and I don't mind."
"Well let's get going." I said as I unbuckled and got out of the car so did Elvis and Ashley.
"Here we go."
