CHAPTER FOURTEEN
Rafael "Red"
WE WERE DISMISSED BY FATHER and all of us obliged. Plus we couldn't say no. He is the king of Alzalea after all. Us being just the prince's, doesn't hold that much power and authority to refuse.

I went and walked out as fast as I could, not in the mood to talk to my brothers. Then from a distance I heard mother say, "Harry, dear, can we have a word for a minute?" I suddenly got curious to what that was all about, but then ignored it almost immediately. I have important business matter to deal with.

Once I was out of range from the office I practically ran to my room. My shoe was making a slight squeaky noise which were annoying while it hits the tiles. As I got to my desired destination, I locked the door quickly. I then advanced toward my wardrobe. Inside was yet another door that held an underground spiral staircase that led to a hideout. My first step on the stairs made a metallic clank subsequently until the last step. As I requested, Tyler was there sitting awfully uptight on one of the black leathered couches.

Yes, I know Tyler Maccallister. Surprisingly, father has introduced me to him, earlier than the rules declare. He turns out to be one of three Royal Intelligence Guards. They disguise themselves as extra's and report monthly on the current situation in the main city. Only the king and queen know about their presence. And if the king's son takes the crown, then and only then can they show their identity and become their royal advisor. Father has shown his identity only to me since he said and I quote, "If I were to bet who will be taking the throne and my place, it's you Rafael."

Tyler raised his head and a brow once he spotted me. "Is there a specific reason to why you look like you've just seen a ghost?" I rolled my eyes. He suppose to be my future advisor but here he is acting like my best friend. Well, he is. He's closer to me than my brothers.

"As if you didn't know. Tyler-" I said as I sat on the couch opposite to him. "-I know you were there with them. I want to know every single drop of information on what happened. And most importantly if you got those 'evidences', so we can dispose them off immediately." I finished as I put my legs on the rest of the couch. Making sure I'm as comfortable as can be.

I, in fact, despise the idea of postponing The Worthy any longer. I have been preparing for this all my life and now I get a change in being king earlier than I thought. Scratch that- I will be king earlier than I thought. You might be wondering why I'm so confident in all of this madness? Well, I've been personally trained by father himself. In secret of course. I, myself, seen how James and Harry has been trained. When they were taught by one of the best teachers about the basics, I was already in advanced classes personally by father. Now some 'evidence' will be taking that away from me? Not a chance. I'll do everything in my power to avoid such a thing.

Tyler's sigh snapped me out of my moment. "Well-"

Uh oh, that means something happened, which will be bad news to me. "-we did get the evidence-" I cut him off right then.

"Wait. We? I thought I ordered you to spy and be secretly following them along the way?" I said outraged. I made that clear to him more than you can count.

"I'm sorry but... You see..." He looked uncomfortable and he started to fumble his thumbs together. Wait. That means only one thing.

"Hold up. Are you saying that you had an encounter with her?!" 'Her' meant the Extra waitress he's working with at the Poniente's diner. Her name is Jillian Anderson. Tyler explained to me she has been a good friend to him, and they care for each other. By mentioning that, Tyler's face showcased a pained expression.

Tyler cleared his throat before answering. "Ye-yeah, well, I was waiting for them to arrive at the bedroom in City Hall, then they suddenly burst in with her in Prince James' arms, unconscious. I panicked, of course. I couldn't leave her like that. And I knew a way to retrieve her back. You can connect the dots after that." Tyler said quite quickly as he looked anywhere but at me through the entire explanation.
