Maxxinne
I walked towards our front door as these whirlwind of emotions came crashing into me. None of them positive. I quietly closed the door knowing the two were doing applications. Until --"Max! You made it just in time!"
I jumped in fright before confusion took its place instead.
"What-what are you you guys doing here?!" I nearly shouted.
"Well, duh, preparing and waiting on you so we could go to applications," Cass answered as if it was the most obvious thing on earth.
"But I left the office at around 0630 o'clock and the speed of that awful bus..." I started off but I realized something as Jills and Cass gave me knowing looks.
"The time difference,"
Of course. I completely forgot the thirty-minute difference from Frontierie and Bellevior. Making it --
"It's just 0645 o'clock, so chill, Max," Jills smirked. "Also, your complete attire is on top of you bed." Cass winked as Jills just giggled.
The perks of best friendship.

Jillian
I realized how lucky I am. Lucky to have these two goofballs with me through thick and thin. To have a decent job. A job balancing right on top of torture and just below luxury. And lucky to have the chance to enter this competition. Showing the world that even low parcels can at least have a chance to compete.A chance to boast to them that we can be Worthy.
"Jills, that is like the nth time that you've licked your teeth. There's nothing on them okay? Calm down, it's as if you're meeting the Royal Highnesses yourself," Cass chuckled deeply as I felt the heat in my body target my cheeks.
Dang it, who am I kidding?
I bet the king has planned to choose an elite of exclusively high ranking and gorgeous applicants suitable for a queen. Everyone on earth knowns I have not been blessed with either.
"The nth time plus one now, Cass," Max just had too add.
And as if I wasn't embarrassed enough, now they're bending over laughter. Teenage girls along with their parents dressed in elegant and expensive looking clothing started to look our way, but one look at our appearances they immediately turn to another direction. Our parents of course could not come. Any Extra with their parents to fully support them is lucky. Luckier than us. Considering the circumstances.
"Please, like you two are totally fine and aren't nervous at all." Let's just hope I'm correct on that note. Max raised her hands in mock surrender.
"Take a chill pill, Lady Jillian." And of course, that sentence could never be complete without the famous bow with each arm in front and at the back of her body. I shook my head. I'm getting slightly irritated by the second, once I do I get awfully dizzy. But they both know it'll wear off in a matter of minutes. I massaged my temples as I walked off to the nearest comfort room.
"You think I should've curtsied instead?"
I couldn't help but grin. Even when I'm mad at them, they find a way to make me smile. And they're not even trying. Now imagine if they did.
Sanctuary at long last as I washed my hands and stared at my reflection. And for the first time in my life I looked alright, presentable even.
"Did you see that girl's dress, or if that what's anyone would call it? And she smells like she came straight out of a garbage can with that perfume!"
