chapter twenty-three

"hello, my love!"

jaehyun, who was holding a red cup and already getting red as he keeps laughing because of their topic. suddenly shifted to the older one who came closer to him, drunk.

"hey," jaehyun immediately went to him because he almost lost his balance.

"my love, jaehyunie..." he giggled, looking up at him.

"are you drunk?" jaehyun asked, feeling his ears heating up.

"no!" and he stood up properly.

"yes, you are." jaehyun said and wrapped his arm to the older one's waist. "let's go to your room, what would jaeyu react if he sees you like this?"

"jaeyu..." he whispered. "he was already looking for his daddy." he pouted.

"then find his daddy." jaehyun said.

he also didn’t know why he said that, he can even say that he can be jaeyu's dad but he didn’t know why he chose the other one to say.

"then come back to me!" he whined.

"w-what?" jaehyun asked.

"you're jaeyu's daddy!" and he started to hit jaehyun's chest. "and i hate you for not telling me that you really don’t marry her! i cried! i was even there on your coronation day!" he sniffed, already crying.

"taeyong..." the only word he can only say.

"jaeyu is our son... come back to us now... i'm still waiting for you..." and he rests his head on jaehyun's chest as he gets tired of hitting it.

jaehyun was speechless, he didn’t expect what taeyong's going to confess. he can't even read his mind and he didn’t know the reason why, it's impossible that someone was not thinking or having thoughts, right?

or maybe because taeyong is really telling the truth. jaehyun can't actually read his partner's thoughts and mind if he already bred them or had sex with them. it was one of his ways to find that it was really his partner.

"you're just drunk..." jaehyun said.

"hmm?" the older one hummed. "jae, can you read minds?" he suddenly asked.

"why?" he frowned.

"didn’t you say if a normal human had sex with a neo person, they might get their abilities?" he asked softly, still hugging jaehyun and resting his chin at jaehyun's chest, looking up at jaehyun.

"and?" jaehyun asked.

"i started to hear everyone's thoughts when i gave birth to jaeyu..." he pouted. "it hurts my head..."

staring at him, it might be hard for him who grew up being a normal human then suddenly he got an ability to read and hear someone's mind and he didn’t even know how to handle it.

so that means, jaehyun is now a father and jaeyu is his son?

"let's go to your room and we will talk tomorrow, hmm?" jaehyun said softly.

"carry!" he giggled.

"tss," jaehyun hissed. but can't also help not to smile before carrying taeyong on his back.

"you guys were going to sleep already?" mark asked as he saw the two.

"with jaeyu," taeyong said, giggling.
