First thing's first, as the world maps I created are meant to represent the world as it stands during the main series- which begins in the year 3329 A.G, I will not be including the full maps in this book. Each story takes place during a different time period, and making a new map for every single one would just create unnecessary work. Instead- if the story's location is relevant or somewhere where the name has changed over time, it'll be mentioned in some way.

If you're interested in looking at the maps anyways- they are available in the first chapter of  "A War Of Traitors".

This can be read without reading the main series first, though I would highly recommend at least glancing at the terminology/maps chapter of "A War Of Traitors."

Some of these stories will be in third person- and some will not. One or two might pop up as chapters in later books of the prequel series😏

  The Cold Regions-
The continent Ebon and it's surrounding waters. It's air is a near unbearable cold year round- with the exception of a roughly three week period in the middle of the year when one can go outside without thick furs. Rains often during the warm period and has been known to snow near constantly during most freezing periods(the last month of the year).

The Boiling Lands-
The entire continent Bracari, land on which the territories of Dedor and Sharean sit. Air is of a near unbearable heat year round. Precipitation is uncommon but not unheard of.

House-
1. A family surname.
2.The castle/ large residence of a major family and those that rely on it, often with smaller cottages, a market, and walls around it to protect inhabitants from the creatures of the region.

Commanding House-
A family that controls the diplomacy, trade, and day to day decisions of a territory.

Sand Crawlers-
Creatures found on the beach and near the shores of the continent Libera. Extremely Aggressive. Described as having 3-6 glowing yellow eyes, standing at twice the size of an average human, with white hair covering their bodies and heads and an otherwise human appearance/ body.

Ocean Dwellers-
Closely related to sand crawlers, but are exclusively ocean dwelling. Most densely populated a thousand paces off the shores of Ebon, around Kroba and Kaeles. Their height varies as much as human's; They are extremely aggressive with white eyes, no hair or fur. Strongly resemble humans.

Night Skeletons-
Creature created as a result of a human not being buried properly. Only objective is to kill.

Ibergerry Flowers/ Root-
Described as having both yellow and/or purple petals- no larger than the average rose, but rooted individually wherever they grow. The flower is edible and acts to change the world around a person when consumed in small doses, but when dried and crushed lightly- the root becomes explosive.

Helkbelle Bushes-
The root of which, when combined with leaves from the Pusel Bush- will act as fuel for Bluefire Dragons, one of the deadliest weapons in the world.

AS WITH EVERY OTHER BOOK SET IN THIS WORLD, THIS ONE WILL LIKELY CONTAIN NEARLY EVERY MAJOR TRIGGER IN ONE STORY OR ANOTHER.

*This is an extended version of a small excerpt from Chapter 159 of "A War Of Traitors."

The year is roughly 2929 A.G.(After Gods and Goddesses walked in this world) The month is unknown to us, though estimated to be early in Janor or Ferdrar. Lord Foulk and Lady Elizabeth Vraemore- and their twin children Gregory and Giselle arrive on the shores of a previously unexplored island between Bracari and Libera.
