it's been 4 years now since inumaki found the fortitude to ask your hand in marriage which you more than gladly accepted.

after finally defeating mahito alongside the other main threats with your closest companions, everyone collectively decided that staying at jujutsu high felt no longer necessary.

even with no longer staying there, there was never a day you didn't keep in contact with your friends that seemed more like family. everyone deciding to just follow their passion with everyone keeping up with each other.

there hasn't been many curses spotted in the area that you've moved into with inumaki for the past 2 years which has been more than blissful for the both of you.

due to certain mishaps during the time inumaki tried working outside of remote, he's been working from home to refrain misusing his cursed technique on his fellow colleagues accidentally again.

even with his cursed technique it never once interfered with your guy's relationship even once, over the years you were together you had worked out ways around it depending on what was asked or how it was phrased so it wouldn't be considered as a command.

he's more than happy to be your stay at home husband that loves surprising you by making dinner, tending to chores you hadn't got the chance to get to, and always making sure there's time for you guys to bask in each other's love together no matter how busy your guy's schedule becomes.

today you called off work due to being indescribable sick, everything felt off starting with how your food didn't taste the same as it should, your body ached in several different places, and let's not even begin to talk about how you kept needing to run to the bathroom for both nausea and needing to pee.

your husband was by your side for everything you needed and asked for no matter how deranged it seemed at that moment, whatever would make you feel better he was more than willing to leap to that goal for you.

"food's ready," toge spoke loud enough from the doorframe of your shared bedroom to direct your attention to the bowl of soup he recently made for you in high hopes that it'll help settle your stomach in any kind of way.

you smiled softly as he made his way to the bed, laying the hot soup onto the side table making sure to not bring it too close to where the smell would make you any more nauseous than you already are.

"have i ever told you how much i love you?" you cooed to him as you breathed through your mouth before he spoon fed just a small taste to test out if you'll need the trash can sitting right by your side of the bed.

"of course you have my love," he spoke fondly as he continued spoon feeding you after noticing you were able to keep it down surprisingly well compared to everything else you had tried stomaching.

during this time he started thinking back through all your symptoms, picking out the specific things that stuck out the most from what you've explained. when the main option clicked in his head he about fell out of his seat, tapping his fingers onto his screen into the search tab:

even you had to admit that everything leaned towards the option of yourself being pregnant, you were so caught up in being sick you hadn't even realized your period has indeed been late and your sickness was mainly towards the morning.

your eyes made there way back to inumaki's who was now holding the keys to the car, unspokenly asking you would you like him to run to the store right quick for the test.

you gave him a reassuring smile added with a nod which was more than enough of an approval, practically lunging out of his seat to give you several quick pecks before heading out the door leaving you with your thoughts.

you held your heated face as your mind replayed all the quite detailed intimate moments you've had with your husband especially recently, deciding together only a few months long ago that you'd like stop taking birth control in hopes of having your first child.

there is no doubt in your mind that you'd both me the absolute best parents, they'd always be surrounded by unconditional love from not just the two of you but your close family and friends that'd also be more than willing to spoil the absolute mess out of them.

not long after still sorting through your thoughts you heard the front door close rather quickly before inumaki made his way into the bedroom to you, one hand outstretched to help you up and the other with the bag that contained the test and a few other things that reminded him of you.

you kindly took his hand to help yourself out of the bed before he engulfed you into a comforting embrace, nestling his face into your neck as he rubbed comforting circles towards your lower back for a few minutes before releasing you with a reassuring smile.

after taking the test from the bag, you made your way into the bathroom all the while making sure to read the instructions carefully before continuing with what it said on the box step by step.

inumaki patiently awaited your appearance back from the bathroom, pacing around the room as he knew he had to take in possibility of it coming back negative. it wasn't a thought he wanted to think especially after already getting hopeful about having a piece of himself and you to also share his love to.

before he could finish the negative thought he heard the door unlock which quickly captured his attention, turning himself around to now face you with the result of the test in your hand showing the word pregnant clear as day.

you couldn't have asked for a better soulmate in your life just by looking at how his eyes welled up with tears alongside you, already embracing you all over again before peppering languid kisses all over your tearstained face.

he crouched down just low enough to be at your stomach before rubbing mini circles around it, laying his head against it as he looked up at you with nothing but adoration as he spoke,

"welcome to our family."
