you loved your boyfriend, you really did.
you're more than well aware everyone has their little celebrity crushes and there's nothing out of the ordinary about it.
it was the way todo practically worshipped takada as if she was the one being by his side and actually adore him.
you were currently sprawled across your couch as you waited for todo to come home from yet another meet and greet for takada.
mai already offered she'd shoot him with a rubber bullet if you'd allow her.
nobara was quite quick to say to leave todo but that wasn't an option you even wanted to consider.
todo always used to make sure you knew he loved you and will forever be his first priority, the longer the relationship went it just seemed to slowly drift.
"you should really talk to him if it's bothering you this much," megumi proposed from the other side of the line.
you knew he was right, megumi was frankly always right for someone who hasn't been in a relationship himself.
"i know but—"
"if you love him then you will communicate with him about it," megumi cut you off.
you dragged your free hand across your face as you groaned in frustration.
"but just in case do not tell him i gave you advice. you remember when he tried to kill me over just breathing the same air as you."
laughing filled megumi's ears as you recalled that day of todo challenging megumi for "standing too close" to you.
"don't worry i'll make sure he won't lay hands on you meg. your pep talks are really comforting."
megumi casually hummed on the other line while the background noises of others talking were muffled.
your phone buzzed as you looked at the notification, "todo <3."

you hesitated to open the photos but the curiosity got the best of you.
the first photo was them standing by each other innocently smiling, the other was takada kissing his cheek sweetly with blush coating aoi's cheeks.
"y/n? you okay?" megumi worriedly asked once noticing how quiet you became.
taking a screenshot of the message you forwarded it to megumi as you heard a faint oh come from him.
"my point still stands you should bring this to his attention and if he does love you like we all know he does, he will make sure you won't feel this way anymore."
once again you knew he was right.
"thank you megumi, i really do appreciate it. tell gojo, nobara, and yuuji i miss them for me."
"will do and good luck l/n," he replied before ending the call.
you placed your phone onto the coffee table before getting up to stretch your legs.
grabbing the remote you turned on something random to help fill the silence throughout the house.
moving to the kitchen you opened the fridge as you searched for something that would help your random craving when you heard the front door open.
you merely ignored it as you continued to search through the fridge until you felt a pair of arms snake around your waist, "did you find anything?"
you shook your head before bumping the door with your hip to close it, turning your body to properly face him.
his eyes scanned your posture and facial expression before he frowned, "what's wrong?"
you really wanted to just say nothing and call it a night but you knew megumi would scold the hell out of you if you just shrugged this off.
"it's just the way you look and practically worship takada .. you spend more time trying to get tickets to see her it just feels like she's more important," you finally voiced out as you avoided any type of eye contact.
it felt so good to finally let it out but frankly you weren't sure what to expect from todo.
you felt his arms leave your waist as you chewed your bottom lip anxiously.
did i make the wrong decision?
"look at me y/n."
hearing the certain tone in his voice sent a chilling shiver down your spine before your eyes looked into his own.
before you could try to say anything he engulfed you into a tight embrace, burying his face into the crook of your neck.
"is this how you've been feeling? have i been making you feel like you aren't enough?" you could feel the hurt in his voice as you returned his embrace.
"you will always be my first priority. takada has nothing compared to you and i'll tell the entire world if that's what i need to do."
the weight on your chest finally started to break and you couldn't deny it felt so fucking good.
he pulled away from the embrace enough to take a good look at you as he rubbed his thumb against your cheek, "i love you, alright?"
you playfully shrugged as you pretended to think about it, "i'm not really sure that's true."
he didn't hesitate to pull you into a passionate kiss, planting his free hand beside your head on the fridge.
you smiled into the kiss as your hands found purchase around his neck, knowing takada would never make him feel the way you do.
