Chapter 15: Art of Fire

After he left the hunting dimension, Nawaki lay still on the bed while he waited until his Sis opened her eyes.

A minute and a half later.

"Huh?" Tsunade smiled at him, "Are you done hunting? Well, how was it?"

"Very good." Nawaki said with a hint of anticipation, "I got a different orb this time. It appears to be the same as wind art, but it is very likely fire art."

"Why didn't you try to learn?" Tsunade asked doubtfully.

Nawaki even thought about doing so, but remember the situation where he took the glass orb with flames, he felt that if he wasn't careful, not only would he not learn the art of fire, but he might also get hurt.

"I want to go safe." Nawaki said, "That's why I need your help to watch and possibly heal if necessary."

Tsunade almost wanted him not to use it if he believed it could be dangerous. But seeing his eyes filled with anticipation, she swallowed her words.

With a soft sigh, she agreed, "Okay, your Sis will help if need be."

"Thanks." Nawaki smiled, "Let's go to the bathroom, it will be better to do this while in the water, I think."

"Yes." Tsunade readily agreed.

In the bathroom, after the bathtub was filled, Nawaki walked in and had his back to Tsunade.

Nawaki took the fire crystal orb.

Just as he felt in the hunting dimension, a small red glowed inside, giving off a little heat.

It was almost as hot as boiled water. Hence his concern and the reason for acting cautiously.

But because his Sis was with him to help if needed, he didn't hesitate before eating.

Immediately, it turned into a terrifying stream of energy through his esophagus and into his stomach before finally flowing throughout his body.

The energy seemed to be scorching flames that burned Nawaki's body. This made Nawaki groan in pain. "Ugh!"

Seeing Nawaki go rigid. Tsunade was worried but didn't despair. She wraps her hand in a green light and places it on Nawaki's warm back.

The flow of healing chakra made Nawaki's expression soften.

A second ago it was even hard to breathe, it got a lot better when his Sis used healing on him.

The water in the bathtub even got hotter. Maybe a mistake that he had filled it with warm water earlier, but it didn't matter anymore at that moment.

Nawaki wasted no time and used the biggest purple orb he could get from the lion.

Closing his eyes, the secrets of fire begin to flash in Nawaki's mind.

As he tried, the flames grew stronger. Without his Sis's support, he didn't have the confidence to learn, he managed to bear it through clenched teeth because of her.

After a long time, Nawaki's brows relaxed. The redness disappeared from her cute face.

Then, Nawaki slowly opened his eyes. A red light shone in his pupils. There was a flame burning inside.

Behind him, Tsunade breathed a sigh of relief as she noticed that the 'storm' had passed.

She didn't speak, but she was very worried. When Nawaki turned to her, and she saw the red light glow in his pupils, she smiled. 'At least it was worth it.'

When Nawaki's mouth was ajar, the fire threatened to come out and he closed his mouth too fast.

"Don't try to talk, just relax and try to get used to and control your new power," Tsunade advised him.
