Routine, routine, same old, same old, no variation in life, well at least for me. My parents always say,"Dear, routine makes life easier, if you stick to it no trouble or harm will come your way." "Mother, Father, what is life without fun, and not even a small, little change?" I would always ask, but by then they were gone, back to the 'routine'. So I spent my extra time alone at home, no one to talk to or hang out with, just the way my parents liked it, huge surprise so I slept. The next day, I was on my afternoon promenade, as my mother scheduled, and a tall boy sat on the park bench playing with a yo yo. "Pardon sir, might I ask what you are doing?"
"Oh, nothing really, umm yeah." He said, an odd accent for the average London citizen, maybe American.
"Are you American? Oh dear, pardon my manners my name is Lainey Crawford, and if you don't mind my asking what might yours be?"
"Oh, yeah I'm from California, we moved because my dad is in the Navy, I'm Maximus, do you always talk like that?"
"No, I hate it, sorry my parents kind of force me to talk like that."
"Oh, cool."
"So, Maximus what do you like to do for fun, not like I would know I never have any."
"I never really got to make any friends we move like, every month."
"Oh dear, me neither my parents are into the whole, routine makes life better thing, I throughly dislike it though."
"I have something in common with someone at least, wait thoroughly dislike?"
"Oh, I believe hate is a strong word, that is my substitute sir, oh boy hear we go again."
"Um, I have a sister maybe you would like to meet her?"
"I would love to."
