queenie and pyr!! i finally gave them solid color palettes omg 😭
i will take this opportunity to infodump abt them a little bit
queenie is the daughter of the head angel of patience which is a very big deal, and her father (mr patience himself) runs a demon recovery program for demons born in the underworld with the goal to redeem them- queenie works for this program as training since she's supposed to be the heir to become the next angel of patience but she's really bad at it and all of her redemptions have been failures (partly and/or entirely bc her father has way too high expectations and keeps giving her THE hardest assignments)
pyr is a demon born in the wrath ring and after some particularly bad behavior on earth he was punished with having to join the DRP to repent for it- he's going in fully expecting to hate the guide and to not be redeemed, but while he's there he gets assigned to queenie and ends up having a lot more influence on how she behaves than she does on him
so the conflict is thuS: will pyr end up having more sway over queenie, leading to her abandoning what she's learned in favor of finally being appreciated and free to be herself? will queenie finally have a successful redemption and their connection will lead pyr to becoming a better person? do they love each other???? yes the answer to the last one is yes
