Jared POV
I reluctantly raised my hand. Even though Linkin Park isn't one of my favorite bands this is my favorite song.
For some reason I looked over at Cody, who also had his hand raised.
"Okay, Cody, Jared, you to will be partners for the rest of the unit." The teacher said, then he started pairing up everyone else.
"How do we always get paired up in class today?" I asked Cody.
"Don't know" He replied. For the rest of class we worked the work packet each of us received, until the final bell rung.
"You still coming over to my place to work on our history assignment and our English skit thing?" Cody asked as we walked out of the door.
"Yeah, Antigone is going to meet us in the parking lot, she said that we will need a video camera." I told him.
"Why a camera?" he asked.
"I don't know, just don't question her she can get scary sometimes." I replied. We were now in the parking lot waiting for her.
"Hey guys, sorry I'm late. I had to stay behind because I was being yelled at for being so unsociable, again." Antigone said as she walked up to us smiling.
I gave her a quick kiss, but as always I felt nothing. "Want to fallow behind us to Cody's place so we can get our work done?" I asked her.
"Does he have a camera?" She countered.
"Yes I do." Cody piped in.
"Then yes, I'll fallow you guys." she said with a smile to big for her face. What is up with her today? I wondered before she sauntered off to her car.
"Lets go before she gets to impatient." I said to Cody, waiting for him to lead me to his car.
"Okay." he said, But in that one word I noticed something different in his voice.
Cody POV
I led Jared to my car, which I parked in the very back of the lot. It was a blue sob. As we got in, I turned the key in the ignition, turning it on along with the radio. I looked at as if asking to keep the music on.
He nodded his head yes to my unspoken question. So on our way to my place, we were listening to blaring loud rock music. As I pulled into the driveway another car pulled along side me. It was a black and red jeep, Antigone stepped out of it.
"Is there anyone else here?" she asked me.
"No its all mine." I replied as I made my way up the stairs to the door.
"That's cool. maybe if I get fed up with my dad and his wife I could stay here for a bit." she said jokingly. "But is so cool that you have your own place already."
"Not really" I mumbled under my breath, so no one would hear me.
"What do you mean 'not really'?" It was Jared, I gave him a questioning look, How did he hear me?
"What?" I asked him.
"What did you mean when you said not really' under your breath?" He asked again.
"I'll tell you later." I said, not wanting them to know about my past. I changed the subject not wanting to talk about it anymore, " I'm going to go get the camera, the living room is the first room to the right."
I headed upstairs to my room and my big-ass closet, to get the camera. Then I heard footsteps on the ground in the hallway. I knew that it was Antigone because it sounded like they were wearing heels.
"I know" was all she said.
"You know what?" I asked her, a little scared that she might know about my past, my mom and dad. But she didn't.
"I know that you like Jared."
