Brookes pov
"Hey Connor, do you think we can go to mr Andrews ice-cream palace for the ice cream?"
"Sure Brooke." As we continued to drive to the stand we both just hummed in sync to the music on the radio. "Hey Brooke, 5$ that Mr.Andrew doesn't charge us the full price."
"Deal." Connor said as we finished the car ride as before, quite humming and small chitchat.
When we got to Mr.Andrews ice cream palace for our ice cream we were the only ones there. We also wouldn't expect anyone this early in the morning trying to get ice cream, unless it's me and Connor. We walked up the old ice cream shack of Andrews. You could say it was built for a small town based movie by the looks of it. With its white cracked walls and bright pink trimming and doors it felt like a home to me. And Mr.Andrew is the nicest person known to man. I also personally think that I'm his favourite customer since I have been coming here since I could walk and occasionally help out here at the store. I walked up to the counter and ordered our ice cream and made small talk with Mr.Andrew. Connor found as a seat right near the opened wheat field with a the small hill right straight in front of us in the distance, far in the horizon.
"You must really love him." Mr. Andrew said handing me our ice cream cones.
"Pardon?" I questioned.
"You must really love him. You come here at 5:45 in the morning to eat ice cream and watch the sunset, plus that's were all the couples go to eat there ice cream."
"No. No you got it all wrong. He's just my friend. My best friend really." I say handing him the 10$ bill and look at Connor giving him a soft smile that he doesn't know I gave him because he's looking out in to the distance.
"Well you to would make quite the cute couple. Here your change, I gave you a little extra for helping me out last week before you went away."
"Thank you Mr. Andrew."
"Please Brooke, call me Tim. It makes me sound old. And I really think that you should ask him out."
"Oh please Tim we both know I don't have to say it but we know that you are old." I say making the joke because that's really our relationship teasing each other all time. "And I'll think about it." I gave him a wink and with that I walked over to Connor.
"Think about what Brooke?" Connor asked me.
"If i wanted a part time job." I lied to him. I don't lie to Connor, like ever. And I was so quick to answer. I feel bad about lying to him.
"Oh. Don't you already have a job here?" He asked me with his ice cream all over his lips and mouth.
"Oh my lord Connor. How do you already have that ice cream all over you." I rolled my eyes. "And yeah I pretty much have a job here." I grabbed a napkin and got up of the bench and walked over and sat beside Connor. I stared to wipe of the ice cream around his mouth. Of course I had to look at his lips while I whipped if the ice cream but Connor chose to look at my lips. I got nervous and bit my lip. My mother and grandfather both hate it but I can't help it when I get nervous. Now Connor is looking straight into my eyes and I'm doing the same. The sun stared to rise and the orange light shined across mine and Connor's face blinding us both. We both lean in for a kiss. When our lips finally connect we kiss. We continue kissing for a couple more seconds then stopped when we ran out of breath.
"Well that's a moment to remember."
So sorry I have not been posting I do feel guilt about that. I also love the names of you reading list. They always give me a good little giggle. Also sorry about the bad grammar.
