Intro/prologue

A/N here! This is my very very first TXT book, and recently I've been obssessed with taegyu so I decided to make a fic about them. Smh taegyu is so cute idk why
Also fyi this is based off of my current school life. Read my skz oneshot book and go to the 2chan oneshot. That is based off of the time when I still had a crush on my guy bestie (shhh). This book is based off of my relationship with my current crush or as he, and everyone in the class like to call, his girlfriend. Which is none other than me. This story is based off of when our relationship first started, how we grew closer, and how we are the pair we are today.

Choi Beomgyu. What we call a school popular kid. Literally everyone has a crush on him. (The fact our gyu was actually popular in school makes sense why I put myself as him. This feels relatable considering that was probs one of the reasons I got elected for class president lol) And he is the president of his class. You can't count on one hand how many people had a crush on him, or atleast had rumors. And everyone is in love. People would see him randomly and greet him formally like "Beomgyu~" or "Beomgyu-ahh~" not in a flirty way, but as if they're friends and Beomgyu has no absolute clue on who they are. He just never responds and waves back. He even auditioned for a role in the school pageant and became the representative for his class. And that grew his reputation for even the primary grades of that school. There's always that one or two people from each grade that know practically everything about this guy. I get it, no school officer is not famous in school, but this man had more fame than you think. He didn't have a crush on seniors, he actually thinks it's gross unless you are the same age, seniors had a crush on him. Oh god he was traumatized to find out there was a person who was probably in college considering he is 2 year levels ahead liked him. A 10th grader. Poor him, nobody would leave the boy alone.

And when he's gone, the class is way more noisy and too much for his teacher to handle. The happiness, the 2nd teacher, and always the one in charge. His looks and personality made people love him more with his short black hair (emo beomgyu in loser lover era xD) and fair skin, his kind, helpful personality and chocolate brown eyes, people were fawning over this such beautiful person. And one of these people were Kang Taehyun.

Taehyun was one of the bad boys of the class. Who had cousins and a brother who went to the same school. His 2 cousins are in the same class, others are in diffrent sections, and his younger brother's in the primary grades. They know which one. Especially Beomgyu and his group of 4. All boys, no girls.

Their squad was called infinity. And they were the popular kids of the school. But not a lot of people know their squad name. They prefer not to go by one. Infinity represents their love for eachother is infinite, and their friendship will last for infinity.

Now, back to him. Taehyun was like a boy Beomgyu didn't like at first, because he had a crush on someone else. He wasn't in the group, as only the teacher would consider him in there, but he was the one shining in Beomgyu's eyes. This made Taehyun fill up with jealousy which was easy to hide. As the other's eyes only wandered on another.

Beomgyu and his squad is called "infinity". They all chose this name and told it to him, as he's the leader. They all agree.

The group memebers and their roles are...

Choi Beomgyu - officer, popular, beautiful face with a beautiful personality. Everyone would describe him as "beautiful",  "smart", and "caring". (Imagine tallest Beomgyu aight?)

Huening Kai - also an officer, the officer who helps Beomgyu when their class is too much to handle for the teenage boy, also popular for his many friends in diffrent sections, has a younger sister in the primary grades, (A/N: 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝒃𝒂𝒉𝒉𝒊𝒚𝒊𝒉 𝒊𝒔 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒍𝒆𝒂 𝒊𝒔 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒏 𝒂𝒍𝒓) everyone would describe him as "pretty" and "cute" to the girls who fought for his attention but realised he had eyes on someone else.

Yang Jeongin  - the oldest of the group. He's the secretary of the class and is quite shy at times, but also very bold if you open your eyes a little bit more. Everyone would describe him as "savage",  "cool", and "sassy". (Imagine oldest Innie oki bc yeonjun is playing a slightly bigger role)

Choi Yeonjun - like the bestie of Beomgyu, but in reality he's only his friend since year 6. Along with Kai, and Jeongin during year 4. Despite being with Beomgyu for less than he has been with Jeongin, or Jeong-ie, he's always the one you see with him. Because their houses are close. And they're so close together to the point where people ask where is Yeonjun whenever they see Beomgyu alone by the school. This guy is also as popular as Beomgyu, or as people call, Beom. He also is dating the person Kai has eyes on. We'll talk about that in another chapter. People would describe him as the same words they used for Beomgyu. They are like height besties and have a bunch in common.

Everyone in Beom's friend group are class officers, Kai is apart of the student council which the school doesn't care about anymore, Beomgyu is the tallest, Kai is the youngest, Jeongin is the oldest. (I already told you to imagine oldest innie ok)

They are all class toppers, and all got honors every quarter and year. It all started in year 5. Everyone likes the 4, and a lot of girls (and boys 👀) have had rumors of liking the famous Choi Beomgyu. I mean who wouldn't?

One of those who has their eyes on him was called Kang Taehyun, he has a lot of friends and is also in a trio formed by him and his cousins.

Beomgyu didn't and will never like the boy. Fingers crossed, but what most people don't know is that Beomgyu can fall in and out of love very easily. He's somewhat like a hopeless romantic sort of thing but he doesn't seem to just be like "Oh he winked at me I like him now" no. It comes with personality and be lucky one of the most popular students at Wanders Hearthow High, or WHH for short, end up having even the tiniest crush on you. Okay, that's it for now with our introduction. Let's get on with our story.
