Chapter 4: Just Us At Lunch

My mom told me to sleep extra early today, because guess what? Going early once again. And my friends don't know. Well, I have to stay with my annoying classmates while I wait 15 minutes for their presence. As I go roam the Grade 8 classes for the sake of Theo, CHOI TAEYANG. I drop him off and walk to my own class. I was used to taking this route. As I always drop off Theo on my way to section 19. After doing what my mother told me, I go through the open door and get greeted by screaming, fighting, and noise. Looks like I have to get their attention to stop them. I know what to do already at least.

And with a clap of my hands, everyone turns to look at my direction. All with shocked, confused faces. Not wanting to get on my 'bad"' side, they all go back to the seats. WIthout me telling them to. 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒚'𝒓𝒆 𝒔𝒖𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒍𝒚 𝒃𝒆𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒅? That's new. Very new.

They all start talking a few seconds later. I hear my name in a conversation I'm not in. So I open my ears and listen without them knowing.

"He talked to you bro! I'm so proud of you for getting the courage!" Someone says.

"I'm still planning to ask him out. I don't know how though." Taehyun tells the other.

"You wanna do what?" I ask and both boys look in my direction. Taehyun begins to blush from embarrassment. I somehow found it cute, not gonna lie.

"Oh hey! Wanna eat with us, tod-day?" Terry asked me. I nod in response then flash him my warmest smile I only show to people close to me.

"Aww, how cute! Of course I will! I don't see why not." I respond in words just incase he doesn't understand. I see his eyes sparkle, and before we knew it, 𝒉𝒆 walked in. Jung Wooyoung. The guy who I like, but is he really who I like? I don't know. But he walked in with, someone? Someone I don't know, hand-in-hand? I- what?

"Here here take a seat. Most people aren't here yet anyway." He says to the unknown person and the girl giggles. Who is she?? But I ignore it, he doesn't even like me back. So why should I bother?

"Hey, you alright?" Taehyun asks with a pat on my shoulder. I nod in response. Trying not to make him worried.

"Bestie!!" I hear shouts from outside. They were my friends, infinity. I run to them and give them a hug. They notice my eyes and they looked the tiniest bit teary. And Jeongin found out why.

"It's Wooyoung, hand-in-hand with 𝒉𝒆𝒓." Hyuka says to us. I again nod, not wanting to say too many words.

"Who's her?" Jeongin asks.

"Nancy Jung. You guys know her." Yeonjun answers. Jeongin glares at her because we know, Nancy Jung is Kai's enemy, Yeon Woo's bestfriend. Yeon Woo is the girl I don't like doesn't like yet still acts like I'm friends with her. Nancy's bestie, apart of her 'group', and literally one of her sidekicks. It hurts me to remember Yeon Woo, as we were besties back then but considering Yeon, (𝑨/𝑵: 𝒍𝒆𝒕𝒔 𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒀𝒆𝒐𝒏 𝒅𝒘 𝒀𝒆𝒐𝒏𝒋𝒖𝒏'𝒔 𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒌𝒏𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝑱𝒖𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒆) who was my ex bestfriend, Hyuka's cousin, ditched, betrayed, and hurt me  emotionally multiple times, I decided to reason with her only to be cut off and get yelled at. So instead of countless times of reasoning with Yeon never learning her lesson. I cut her off my life. There the tables have turned, Yeon Woo was trying to reason to me, I was done and didn't listen to her anymore. I just went off with the multiple other friend groups I had instead. I feel at ease now, atleast.
