"Katherine?!" I screamed frustratedly. Gem stopped the vision and the sand fell down around us. Gem picked up the purple glass vision that depicted Katherine and I hugging each other. I plopped down on the floor and stewed silently. Gem didn't notice as she looked at the vision.
"Katherine! That's great!" she tried. Then she saw me on the floor. Her grin fell and she sighed. She let the vision fall from her hands and shatter at her feet.
Gem crouched next to me. "Come on, it's not that bad," said Gem. I glared at her. "It is so that bad," I grumbled. "It could be worse," said Gem.
I lay back on the ground. "Could it, Gem? Could it really get much worse than having to hug Katherine? Like I genuinely don't know how Imma pull this off. Because if you don't remember I ruined her coronation," I ranted.
"Well look on the brigghh..." Gem trailed off as I sat up and gave her a "Stop talking right now there is no bright side" look. Gem sighed and stood up. "Look, y/n, this isn't about you. The Empires are in danger in it's up to you to save them. The fate of the Empires SMP is in your hands! What's it gonna be?"
Gem reached her hand out to me.
I reluctantly took it and Gem helped me off the ground. "Go get 'em," said Gem and smiled at me and then added "Chhamp," popping the "p". "What are you, my dad? 'Go GeT eM cHaMp! YoU gOt ThIs KiDdO!'" I mocked.
"Out!" said Gem as she conjured a shield and forced me giggling out of the academy. Outside the school, I took a deep breath and fully registered what I was about to do. "Know what, not really feeling it right n-" "GET!" Gem shoved me back through the doors.
"Oh, come on!" I yelled as the large wooden doors shut in my face. "Uuuuuggggghhhh." "Leave!" came a muffled voice from the other side of the doors.
