I woke up the next morning feeling oddly bubbly. I strolled down to the bakery, purchased a coffee and a large cinnamon roll and headed back to the palace. Building the Palace of Camelot was a draining process. I built it very early in the SMP, before we gained access to the End Cities. No end cities meant no elytra which was a minor drawback in the building process. Just a minor one, y'know?

This meant walking to gather all of the sand and gravel AND dye for the concrete because Joel's Mezalean ConcreteTM had not yet been established. It meant mining for all of the gold because, honestly, no businesses were established, including Scott's gold one, that early in the game.

It meant walking to gather all of the deepslate, quartz, spruce and birch. And finally, it meant using dirt and scaffolding. Just. No. I deposited my breakfast on the dining table and dug in. Once I had finished, my mail was brought to the table by Lady Gremliane.

I rifled through it, tossing out all of the useless junk like ads and catalogs, and setting the rest aside. Once I had finished sorting out the junk, Lady Gremliane took it and went to drop it at the farm where they would turn it to bonemeal. I plucked the first letter from the top of the pile that I had previously set off to the side.

My mood was crushed as soon as I saw what it was. It had a large dried flower pressed neatly on the front to seal the envelope. I had a very strong feeling that I knew exactly what this was. I carelessly peeled away the flower and tossed it over my shoulder. I pulled the invitation out of the envelope and quickly skimmed it.

Dear Queen ExcaliburPlayz of Camelot,

We are pleased to announce yakyakyak yadayadayada blahblahblah, and we would like to formally invite you to the coronation of Princess Katherine Elizabeth Gaming.

Best wishes from House Blossom,

The Guardians of the Overgrown.

I scoffed. You're telling me that those giant flowers wrote this letter? I was only attending the coronation out of respect for the other Empires. I had no respect for Katherine. None. I slipped the invitation back into its envelope and set it aside. I received a text from Gem saying that she's heading to the Overgrown and that we should meet up at House Blossom.

I exited the castle out into the beautiful day. The cloudless, sunny sky illustrated the exact opposite mood from the one I was in due to the fact that I must help prepare for Katherine's coronation. I picked up some rocks and threw them at the sky. I dodged the rocks as they fell down around me. "I don't wanna help!" I whined immaturely at the sky.

"Is there something wrong your majesty?" I winced as Lady Gremliane peeked her head around the castle doors. "Not at all," I smiled at her. She nodded and moved away. As soon as she stepped out of sight, my cheerful smile instantly dropped back to its former gloomy state.

I sneered at the clear blue sky one last time before taking off towards the Overgrown. I arrived at the Overgrown a few seconds later. I saw Gem waiting outside the House Blossom gates. I swooped down and snatched Gem's massive purple wizard hat and landed softly behind her on the blue and purple glass textile floor of House Blossom. I put the hat on and pulled a stick from my inventory.

"Ooh, look at me! I'm GeminiTay!" I said in a high pitched voice. "And I can shoot fire from my magic crystal branch!" I pointed the stick at a sheep plushie and made a zapping noise. Gem rolled her eyes and pointed her staff at me. I felt the hat lift from my head as Gem levitated it toward herself.

"No!" I squealed as I stumbled forward in an attempt to snatch the hat out of the air. "Omigod you're such a crackhead!" said Gem as Joey walked in. We both looked at him and he looked at us. Joey raised his hands. "OmIgOd Ur SuCh A cRaCkHeAd, Y/n!" Joey mocked in a high pitched voice. He walked away shaking his head, muttering "Girls." After he left, we both burst into hysterics. fWhip walked in to see us both wheezing and holding our stomachs. "What's so funny?" he asked.
