Dear Queen ExcaliburPlayz of Camelot,

You have been formally invited to witness the union of King Smallishbeans of Mezalea and Queen LDShadowLady of the Ocean Empire in holy matrimony. The wedding shall take place on Tuesday, July 20th at the Church of the Blood Sheep in Mythland.

Sincerely,

Llama Jeremy of Mezalea and Sir Strawberry of the Ocean

Finally. I had been waiting for Joel to propose to Lizzie for ages. I slipped the invitation back into the envelope and stashed it in a chest for safe keeping. The letter was delivered to me by Lady Gremliane, my royal advisor, in the early hours of the morning. I was most certainly not a morning person.

I hopped of my gold four-poster and walked over to the mirror. I brushed my long, silver-white hair. I only had a few outfits, as all the rulers did, but mine were quite unremarkable. Other rulers, say for example, Princess Katherine Elizabeth Gaming, wore a dress with an off shoulder white bodice, purple floor-length flower patterned skirt, and fairy wings, rather than her regular sheep overalls. Wizard GeminiTay wore a green midi dress with a purple cloak, purple wizard hat, and amethyst wings, rather than her usual green shirt and denim overalls.

I, on the other hand, wore a long-sleeved white top, ripped jeans, white Converse, pearl earrings, and a regular black elytra. Always. For the simple reason that I didn't have any powers. I couldn't forge whole mountains, like Count fWhip. I couldn't freeze things like Emperor Smajor1995, my twin brother.

I didn't command the inhabitants of the ocean or control the weather like Lizzie and Codfather Solidarity, or speak to the wolves and have sonic hearing like Queen Shubble. I had talents, sure. But those things, like my outfit, we're quite unremarkable, making me not extraordinary, but extra ordinary.

I looked over at the calendar. It was Monday July 19th. The wedding was the next day and I had nothing to wear! There were, of course, some exceptions to the skin rule, and weddings did happen to fall into that category. Actually made that up but who's gonna stop me, right? I headed into town. I built this city, and knew it like the back of my hand.

I headed to the dwelling of the village seamstress, Loretta Fabirk. I knocked on the door and was greeted a mere few seconds later by the blond seamstress. "Ah, my Queen, I've been expecting you," said Loretta. "You have?" I asked. "Oh yes. Come, come, I have something for you." I followed Loretta into her house.

She lead me to her studio where she had mannequins lined up on all walls. "Wizard GeminiTay sent word to me as soon as she received the invitation to the royal wedding, and asked me to craft you an outfit," Loretta said. She led me over to a mannequin with a cute dress in the colors of Camelot, royal blue and gold. Beautiful, but so as not to outshine the bride.

How thoughtful of Gem to have thought ahead on my behalf. She must have known the invite would have taken to long to reach me. Gem was my best friend on the Empires server. We were like sisters. I depended on Gem because unlike Gem's twin brother fWhip, Scott didn't care for me much. Ever since Xornoth left and Scott discovered his powers, we were never the same.

We had always been distant. Despite my desperate attempts to grow closer to my brother, he seemed to think that it's my fault that Xornoth left. Scott could be audacious, ignorant, and naive. Gem always complained about her brother being super overprotective and babying her, but honestly, I would have given a great deal if it meant Scott would care about me half as much.

Of course, I had fWhip who was quite friendly partly because he saw how much Gem cared about me and wanted to make her happy, and partly because he was just a nice guy. I didn't know what Katherine's problem was though. Every time I was around, she put on a face as if she had shit under her nose. Lizzie and Joel were friendly, but I thought it was because they saw how Scott treated me and felt sorry. Otherwise, if it weren't for Gem, I would feel quite lonely.
