During patrol, Batman and Robin had tracked down a large gang of drug dealers. A decent amount larger than they normally run into. Batman had been tracking them down for a couple of days. Red Robin was patrolling nearby in case they needed back up.
Batman and Robin took their positions and waited for a good moment to jump in. Robin paid close attention to Batman, waiting for his signal. The main guy entered the area and began talking to one of the workers, who was dragging around some boxes from the storage to some large trucks. Batman glanced over at Robin and gave him a small nod, they then jumped into action.
Batman flew in from behind the 'boss' and knocked him out. He then knocked the worker out with a swift kick, sending him into the boxes. Robin dropped down near a group of workers and started pounding on them. The wounds he had gotten from Travis and Riley earlier that day made it a bit annoying, but he was trained to be able to fight through all kinds of injuries, so it wasn't much of a problem.
Since this was a significantly large gang, the fight seemed to last much longer than it normally does. As soon as Robin finished one wave, another would appear from around him, but he made fast work of each wave. He wasn't really worried about how harsh he was being, though he did make sure to not kill anyone.
Batman also dealt with some of them but was more focused on hacking into their database. It didn't take him long to hack into it though. He found a list of names for everyone included in the business, plus a map of multiple bases. He quickly sent a copy over to the police. Some of the gang members had attempted to escape but didn't get very far. Batman found them, knocked them out, and threw them into a pile of knocked out men. Robin had just finished off the last wave.
Batman and Robin then tied all the men up into groups and left them to the police. They spent the rest of the night investigating and shutting down each base from the list, with help from Red Robin to speed things along. Once they finished, they headed back to the batcave.
Damian was about to head upstairs before his father stopped him, "Damian." His father called blankly. "Yes father?" Damian questioned, looking back with an eyebrow raised. "Are you alright? You were moving slightly differently today." Bruce stated. Damian stiffened a bit, he knew he was probably moving a bit differently because of his bruises, but he was hoping his father hadn't noticed. "I'm fine father, just a little tired." Damian replied. His father analyzed him for a minute before replying. "Very well, you're dismissed."
It's now the next morning and Damian wakes up a bit later than he normally does. He sits up and immediately regrets it a little. He's pretty sore and his injured shoulder is practically screaming at him. He's had much worse injuries before, but because of all the action he'd done with these ones, he was now pretty sore. Damian groans in annoyance. He gets out of bed slowly and immediately stretches to get used to moving around with these injuries again. He then goes into the bathroom to brush his teeth and take a shower.
Damian changes into his school uniform before going into the bathroom to cover up some bruises. He had a couple from his duties as Robin and one from Travis. He feels his blood begin to boil as he looks at the one from Travis. Damian definitely wants to push Travis around a bit, after everything he's done to him, but he knows he can't really do much. Travis has a surprisingly large authority at the school, and Damian knows he can't really explain things to his father, not without sounding like a weak disappointment. So going after Travis, even if he had good reasons, would only do Damian harm right now.
Damian sighs, snapping out of his thoughts. He covers the bruise up with some makeup. He put the makeup in his bag before heading downstairs for some breakfast. He's pretty hungry, probably because he hadn't eaten dinner the night before. Once downstairs, he heads into the kitchen and finds both Tim and Jason.
