-Play Song on Loop-
The next morning they started at the Training grounds, Tsu-tey Instructed her how to Mount the Pa'li, Of course, that was no problem, as she steadied herself on the back. She softly ran her fingers over the Animals Queue, then its neck, it snorted beneath her, her smile Infectious to Tsu-tey, as she Connected Queue she Laughed lightly feeling the rush of the bond with the Pa'li, She let out a breathy laugh. Patting its neck softly. Tsu-tey spoke, "That is bond, it helps with your riding, and also connects you to Pa'li so you and it can better understand one another.." she nodded Listening to him, He noticed by the eye contact that she was actually interested. He found his lips quirking up at this but quickly shut it down before waving her to start off easy "Tell it to go forward Inside.." he rest his fingers on his head, She nodded and took a breath, taking hold of the leads, as the Pa'li whinnied and stepped forward into a soft trot. That soon turned into a sprint as her laugh can be heard the closer he got. He tried to over-take her Pa'li as she Saw this and smirked leaning forward to go faster, and the Pa'li did just that taking it to the Maximum, as Tsu-tey and his Pa'li kept with it but never over-taking them.
After the Pa'li Lesson Tsu-tey left her with the children of the clan that had crowded her as soon as they entered Home Tree. He had to scout with other warriors, something about her kind being among them more and more often. she shook off his earlier statement on her kind. So when they heard the Alarm, and Liaka hadn't seen Neytiri or Tsu-tey she grew slightly worried, More so For Neytiri.
She raced a child in her arms, one holding her hand as the rest followed, She saw Tsu-tey and his warriors drag in an Avatar, Man was dressed in marine-like clothing, torn apart with rips, Neytiri with them and she gazed over seeing Liaka's Worried glances in the crowd doing the 'I see you' silently to her, Settling Liaka's worries for her friend.
They argued back and forth with Tsu-tey and Neytiri, Tsu-tey saying to kill the demon, the Man looked confused as they all Spouted Na'vi, Liaka found his confusion, amusing. Neytiri spouted about signs from Eywa, which intrigued Liaka, If he truly was surrounded by the seed whisps, as Liaka knew them. Eywa did smile upon this Schxawng indeed.
Suddenly he met her eyes in the crowd "LAIA!" her eyes raised up "Wait no...Lia? Liaka! Grace Said you were among them!" Liaka looked at him with anger and Spoke "Who are you to Speak of Sa'nok, or her supposed words, Who you!" she set the children down storming over grabbing the schxawngs neck and making him kneel, "Who you to Sa'nok, Hmm?" she said threateningly, Neytiri watched not her place to Intervene as he did mention Liaka's mother, Jake Gasped under her grip "Dr Augustine, Is your mother?" she released him as he coughed "Sa'nok would not allow Jarhead to drive Avatar...too Dumb, too clumsy. Gun-happy." She snarled "Does Thomas Sully ring a bell Liaka?" Liaka looked upon him flipping through her memory 'He was shot in an alleyway, you're Stuck with his replacement Jacob sully, retired Marine' Liaka hissed mumbling in Na'vi "Son of a bitch..." she looked upon him in annoyance Walking towards Mo'at and Mumbled something in her ear that none of them could make out "if Eywa smiled upon him a chance is needed, let us see if Jarhead can learn or die...Worst could happen, he dies which is not that bad, for us." she giggled at the end as Mo'at smiled down at her. Liaka held no love for Sky-people, except Grace and Max. But she saw this sky-persons plea and they should at least see the meaning behind the sign.
"Neytiri will teach you...Learn well Jakesully, we'll see if your insanity can be cured.." Jake looked relieved, as Liaka walked up to him "Do not waste the chance. Do not Betray. I will Kill you if you do.." she stepped on his tail, making him hiss out, and watched her depart, Tsu-tey noticed the exchange, and he felt bubbling in his gut at it, he didn't like how close this demon was to Liaka, not one bit, not counting the fact they are both of the same kind, both five-fingered, shes just, different from him, not an unseeing Schxawng.
He went to follow her to question her. He found her sitting near her hammock with her tools laid out. He Kneeled down looking over her shoulder with a pouting look on his face "Who is Thomas sully, Why does it....ring the bell" he questioned. She turned to him with a sigh and an eye roll "it was just something I remember someone saying when I left the Sky-people. a Scientist was murdered. He was getting ready to ship to pandora, From what Grace has mentioned of him before I left, He was a good man, who wanted to help the people. Conserve this planet. Instead, they got his stupid brother, Jacob Sully. Retired Marine, Eh...warrior" he huffed "so you do not know this Jacob sully, only his name, Same with the other." She nodded not feeling the need to verbalize as she sharpened her knives. He nodded to himself. Alright he thought, that's good.
He sat there with her the rest of the day watching her work on her tools, and she allowed him in her presence. Her bubble. He was grateful for what little she gave back to him, the Pieces of Su she gave back to him, Little by little.
Every time he did this with her, he always found himself trying to find a single flaw other than her hands, and hair tuffs above her eyes, but there was none, not one out-of-place stripe or white freckle, no hair out of place. Always properly Na'vi, he thought to himself. Sometimes he'd have a thought cross his mind that he couldn't allow continuing such as 'she's going to make a perfect mate..' he'd finish it with 'for some tough warrior...' He'd never say himself. No, he knew where he was needed and who needed him.
But he always found the dark thoughts coming back through to him, at night especially when he couldn't sleep and would roll in her direction and see her sleeping body, soft exhales leaving her mouth from the safety of her Hammock next to Neytiri's Some nights he'd wish to reach over and move a stray hair that had fallen during her sleep. but refrained, his stoic face staring into her sleeping one, lulling him to a night of sleep, restful and deep.
When he awoke the next morning She was gone. no one was awake, No one around for her to even speak with, He got out of his hammock and searched her own, finding it empty of anything and everything, every tool and weapon, even the collection of loincloths and chest pieces she collected and made during her week here were gone, and he knew she'd left, he quickly grabbed his bow and weapons and lept down the spiral.
He'd catch her, he knew that, it was only a matter of time, he'd caught her once, and he wasn't ever going to completely release her again, too Fearful of losing whatever semblance of the Su part of him that she gave back to him.
