Liaka and Neytiri when given free time from the children in the village, Would adventure out to the tree of Souls, Neytiri at this point was halfway through her Pregnancy, Liaka had seen her belly grow with the child, and her heart grow bigger than ever, Liaka had thought a visit to their loved ones to tell them of the good times and peace was needed, even Neytiri agreed, she wished to speak to her father, and Seze, Liaka just wanted to hear just the voices of her friends and Family once more, She came here very often after the war, Wanting so badly to connect with Grace, But Grace Never showed herself, Mo'at said that she believes Grace is with Eywa, Anytime Liaka tried to explain she wasn't Na'vi Mo'at would wave her off speaking these three words every time "Her Soul was.." So as Liaka came upon the tree of Souls with heavily pregnant Neytiri.
She helped Neytiri to the ground beside the tree. Neytiri smiled at her Spiritual sister as she sat next to her, they both took a strand of glowing leaves from the tree "Let us show them what they died for sister..." Neytiri whispered to her Before they connected. When Liaka connected it was different, Different from the time before, Instead of just soft Familiar whispers, she appeared in the old Sky people's base, Her body was more mature so she had to duck a bit, her body moving on its own, When they got to a room she recognized, the room she awoke in, her eyes glanced around in awe, Like it never decayed or aged...But her eyes soon met a familiar mop of red, fading to grey at the roots her body went cold and her voice cracked when she spoke "Sa-Sa'nok..." her eyes glassing over, as the women spun slowly around in her chair and smiled at the woman, "You have aged well My Lia.." Liaka felt her tears slowly trickle down her face "Ma Sa'nok..." She fell to her knees and crawled softly to her mother, the woman shushed her as she rested her head in the old woman's small human lap, the woman ran her hands through the women's braids "Sh Sh...my Gift...It's okay.." Liaka sobbed "I-I thought...I thought Eywa didn't accept you...Sa'nok I was so scared..." She sobbed her words out, as Grace soothed her mind and soul. "It's okay...Everything will be okay...I am with her Now Liaka, I chose this, The warmth Liaka...is like nothing I've ever felt...Nothing neither I nor Taira ever felt on earth...And oh My Little Na'vi Warrior...." She cupped Liaka's face bringing her head to hers, Forehead meeting Forehead, "She is So Incredibly proud of you..." She whispered to the Na'vi woman in Her Lap.
Liaka felt an overwhelming warmth fill her, she never wanted to leave...Not leave Grace here alone...Suddenly a voice surrounded them "Spirit sister..." a soft echoey whisper filled their space, Grace sighed "My Gift...It's time to go.." Liaka only gripped tighter shaking her head "I can't leave you alone..." She said softly barely audible but Grace heard it Chuckling above her, "Oh my girl...I'm not alone have you not been listening?" Liaka finally looked into her eyes, Grace wiped the tears from the blue girl's face "Im with Eywa...and all her children...Sylwanin, the clan's people that died during the destruction of the home tree...im with all of them...helping all of them...You have your duty my girl, And I Have mine... let's do our best...remember...we always do our best..." Liaka smiled at her Sa'nok before Kissing her forehead, showing her every new thing, the new tree, Neytiri's pregnancy, her and Tsu-tey, All the happy clan's people, their time of peace.
When she pulled away Grace was crying, Liaka at first worried but Grace only Laughed cupping her face "Me and Mo'at were right my Gift..." Liaka was confused before Grace finished "You are a Gift from Eywa...Goodbye Liaka Te Sullv'ite, Miracle of Eywa.." one last tear ran down Grace's face, and before Liaka could wipe it the voice spoke again "Wake up Spirit sister..." Liaka watched as Grace was Engulfed in white, but she didn't panic, she felt in her heart she'd see her again, When she woke, a Pregnant Neytiri Sat beside her, worry etched in her soft features, Liaka smiled at her friend "Its okay Sister...Sa'nok was speaking to me is all.." Neytiri smiled wide as tears glossed her eyes "Your Sa'nok, you saw Grace!" she said excitedly "Did you show her? Our home, the peace?" Liaka nodded "Yes...and I feel at peace.." Liaka and Neytiri both left that place, the weight from the war lifted from their shoulders. Their duty is done, Now was the time for peace with their home, and their people, and as they walked hand in hand, bows in their empty hands, Liaka and Neytiri knew, as long as they had their Mates and their Clan, they'd do anything they could to protect both.
Tsu-tey had asked what Liaka saw during the time at the tree of souls, She would smile at him and plainly say "My Sa'nok saw me, Eywa saw me." She then would go back to her chores, Tsu-tey then asked Neytiri about it, She knew nothing more than Liaka saw her Sa'nok, and that it took her a long time to leave the connection of the tree, but that she seemed very happy with the results, and that's all Tsu-tey needed to know was that she was happy with the results, so he dropped it. Liaka and Him grew into their roles with the clan, Mo'at had spoken to Liaka on several occasions, concerning a variety of things, including Neytiri's birth, Liaka had helped Mo'at plan it all, From the Introduction Ceremony for the child. To The child's future training, Liaka and Mo'at spoke about other matters as well, But Liaka didn't dwell on those conversations, For she knew that Tsu-tey would never Leave home tree, so she never worried about the things they spoke about to come into effect.
Mo'at also trained her on the more basic arts of the clan's Tsahik arts. Liaka and Neytiri would spend some time with Mo'at going over their Tsahik studies. Liaka had only done this so Neytiri wouldn't find it incredibly boring, as she usually did. Tsu-tey loved tho watching her with the children, but he noticed a few things that slowly changed about her, you see, Tsu-tey kept close eyes on Liaka, Not because she wasn't trustworthy, but because he liked looking at her, But in these last few weeks her hips became a tad wider, her hair slightly frizzed at the ends where her hair started growing from her braids, She had a soft glow to her, to her face especially. Tsu-tey believed it to be from her time with her Sa'nok at the tree of the souls, and for a few moments, Tsu-tey left it at that. But as the weeks went on, that turned into a month. He started to notice that might not exactly be the case here, with them.
You see Na'vi and Human pregnancies were different, the typical human Pregnancy lasted Nine months, while Na'vi lasted a little over a year. So Tsu-tey saw only small changes until the further she got.
