On the ship, everyone was resting peacefully. Finally we can stop walking, through a forest full of endless greens and browns. Alaina, a pretty nice pirate, if i should say, was steering the ship. Honestly, i thought i wouldnt like her. Every pirate i saw growing up, I always threw rocks or water at them, for fun.
Near Cosette, who had found comfort of the floor, was fast asleep, Winona also. Near them was my bag. I walked over as quietly as i could and picked it up, bringing it back to my spot of the ship. Sitting down, i put it on my lap, digging through it. I pulled out the map, a bottle of water, and a tiny bag of sunflower seeds.
Looking over the map, I sighed. I dug into the little bag of seeds and put a couple in my mouth, not bothering to take the hard shell off. "You said you can make stuff for our journey right? Stuff as in what?" I looked to Alaina, who was still wide awake and steering the ship. She turned her head towards me and titled her head, "Oh, I thought I told you," She turned back towards the front, "I make potions, of all kinds. They really come in handy, why are you asking Aye?"

"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU? MY- MY ARM! ITS FUCKING GONE!" Under the ship, in a little storage unit. Alaina and I were trying to make a potion, one that can help defeat enemies, like the guards that surround the Opal.
WHEN SUDDENLY SHE MADE MY ENTIRE ARM DISAPPEAR BECAUSE SHE WANTED TO TEST SOMETHING. SHE HAD SO MANY THINGS LYING AROUND BUT NO! SHE POURED THE BOTTLE OF UNKNOWN LIQUID ON TO MY ARM!
"Don't worry 'bout it. You'll get ya arm back, ye? It'll wear off right about......now. Look, you have it ba-" smack! With my arm finally back and on my side, I brought it up and slapped her. "MATE! WHAT WAS THAT FOR!? YOU GOT YOUR ARM BACK!" I didn't care to respond to her, instead i turned my back and walked back up to the deck, turning around half way to flip her off.

After about 2 hours, i started to feel tired and Alaina went back to steering the ship. "You should rest if you're gonna travel to get that gem. I'll watch over everyone." Nodding, I laid down, resting my head on my bag.

"Uh....guys, you might want to see this." Groggily opening my eyes and stretching, I stood up. Across the boat, I can see Cosette and Winona also standing up, looking just as tired. Susrprisingly, Cosette was using her wings to see higher. "What is that? It looks so.....dreary." Winona groaned, the tiredness still evident in the way she slurred her words. "Huh- kinda just looks like the house is the dreary thing. Everything else kinda looks sparkly." Cosette said, flying back and forth to get a good look of everything.
"Yeah...that's what I was talking about, the house. I'm not dumb." Winona snarkily remarked. "We should check it out, stop the boat near the shore. We'll all go together." I said, grabbing my bag and putting everything back that i had taken out before. I waited for Alaina to stop and dock the ship near the harbour. After she was done, she put the plank down and I hurridly ran down it.
"Don't go to fast, we are going together." Winona said, as she slowly went down the plank, most likely scared that she would fall into the water. "Well maybe if you went a little faster. We can be inside already." Winona turned to me quickly and gave me a dead pan look. With the face she made, I put my arms up in denfense and stayed still. Waiting.
"There...now im done and we can head inside."

When we entered the house, there was no one inside. It was eerily quiet. "Scatter, maybe we can find stuff while the owner is away." Alaina spoke to us as she headed towards what looked to be a kitchen. While we all headed our own ways, I went down into a shed or basement. I flicked on the lights and ran down the stairs.
The room before me was cluttered and a mess. Bottles of strange liquids were spilled in all different places on the floor. In a corner, there was a large human-sized box with a cover over it. "hello?" I swiftly pulled down the cover and revealed a cage. Inside, was a faerie. She had bright blue hair and very light colored blue eyes, almost too white to be blue. She was also wearing a long blue dress, that fell on her body almost like water. There was also something embroidered all around it, a music note. Her wings were clear and round, as she looked at me, they were fluttering wildly.
"You have to help me please. I'm begging you, before she comes back." I gave her a quizical look and looked around, "Before who comes back? What's your name?" She put her hands on the cage and gripped it tight, "Kamaria, now please let me free, im begging you."
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-"
From upstairs, there was a scream that sounded like Winona. I looked at the steps and back at Kamaria, i gave her a sad look and shrugged, "Looks like shes back." With that, I ran upstairs to see what had happened.
"Wait please!" I didnt turn back as I heard her beg, instead i went to the source of the sound which was indeed Winona. She was grabbed by a woman, who held a knife to her neck. She had curly silver hair and wore a long, light purple gown. She had dark brown eyes and red lips to contrast. On her ears, she wore dark purple earrings that were in the shape of a cresent moon.
"What are you people doing here? And don't move or I will kill her." Her voice was stern and sharp. "Look lady, we thought no one really owned the place, It seemed unlikely since you left your damn door open." I scoffed, and looked her up and down.
"Let her go. And that Faerie you got in the basement. Or we will have problems."
