"Azrael, what are we gonna do!?" I frantically looked at him, gripping my bag. He looked at me, eyes wide, as he paced back and forth, running his hand through his hair. "Uhm- Get caught. The only thing that will help is to get caught. Y'know, know what we're dealing with."

I started laughing, not because I found anything funny, no. Because i was really scared and this man was spitting out bullshit ideas. "You know, you sound really fucking dumb right now." Azrael gripped my shoulders and looked me dead in my eyes. "Get. Caught. I'm right here."

As he stared into my eyes, I could see that he meant well. I backed away and nodded my head. That's when he flew into the trees, I can see a black figure pulling him up. Looking into the trees above, i couldn't see where everyone could possibly be going. "how the hell are th-" Before I can finish my sentence I was pulled up. Before I can react, something hit my head and everything went black.

When I finally started to gain back my conciousness, I couldn't see anything except for little bits and pieces of light. It seemed that whoever grabbed us, put bags over our heads and tied our hands and feet. There was movement coming from everywhere around me, and I knew we were traveling in the back of a truck of some sort. I was laying on my side and I can feel someone behind me. Feeling around with my hands, i tried to see if i can guess the person by their clothes. As I kept feeling, I heard a grunt. The voice was deep and it sounded closer than expected. I guided my hand higher on the persons body and everything felt harder than expected.

I suddenly came across something soft and squeezed. I blinked behind the bag a couple of times before realization hit me.

I know I did not just....Please lord, forgive me. I scooted away from Azrael, which i knew it was him from the deepness of the grunt, and his body, as best as I can. Suddenly the truck hit something hard, and everyone was knocked around. I hit my head on one of the sides and then it was dark.

The truck that the group was in continued to travel back into the city. Back to the place they had just left. It continued until it parked near the same place Cosette was captured. The goons that took them into the trees got out of the front and opened the back doors, carrying everyone inside a building. They tied them to chairs and made them sit in a circle, facing eachother. They took off the cloth bags from their heads and lit a disgusting candle to wake the group. One by one, they all awoke, from Cosette all the way to Artemis. Confused, the group looked around, recognizing the place.

As we all looked around, I can tell we were thinking the same thing.

This is the place Cosette was found. This is the place where we fought all those men. These are the same men that worked along side Azrael. I turned to face him and found that he was already looking at me, like he knew what I was thinking. "How- How could you do this? We barely even," my voice started breaking as I held back tears of frustration. "We barely got anywhere and already, this is what you do?"

"No, Artemis I can-" He was cut off by Cosette. "Nope, don't. I knew we couldnt trust you."

"It's getting a bit sentimental, innit. Hey boss, let me just get those for you." One of the goons went to untie Azrael. When he was finished, Azrael kneed him in the gut and went to a seperate room, slamming the door. The other man that was there swayed akwardly back and forth before speaking, "Uh, You girls stay put, yeah. Not like you can go anywhere anyways." He chuckled before walking into the room where Azrael left to.

"Hey, you alright? We'll get out of this mess I promise." Atticus tried to comfort me from her seat. I looked up at her, tears forming in my eyes. As soon as I spoke, they started coming out hard and fast, "I should have listened. From the moment he took Cosette to the moment he offered help. He was always..." I stopped, a lump started to form in my throat and nothing more came out. I sat there crying, not being able to wipe my own face.

Everyone was quiet. It wasnt like they could do anything. What's done is done and there was no turning back. The door that Azrael went through swung open and slammed onto the wall. I jumped a little but ignored it, ignored him. I don't think I would be able to look him in the eyes after this.

I heard his footsteps come closer to me before I can finally see his shoes. He bent down in front of me and turned my chin to look at him. I took this as my chance to kick him, right in the...

"Fuck. Ugh....give me a second." He fell back and grabbed in between his legs, groaning in pain. I scoffed as I looked at him, what a pity. "You bitch. Don't ever fucking touch me." Alaina and the others laughed. I looked at them and they were cackling in their seats as they stared at Azrael, who was slowly recovering.

"Alright. Alright. I won't touch you just....look at me. Let me explain." I didn't. Instead I sat there and threw my head back, staring up at the ceiling. Something I found myself doing quite a bit. "Please." The hurt in his voice threw me off, and my eyes flickered to him before going back to the ceiling. "Just talk. I don't want to look at you."

"What are you doing? Don't let him talk, make him suffer in silence." Kamaria yelled, and I rolled my head to look at her. She continued, "You can't trust anything he says."

But that was the thing. All I wanted to do was trust him. All my life I had trusted him, from the moment he said hello to the moment he told me that he was moving away. All I ever did....was trust him.

"Artemis." Just him saying my name alone made me take my eyes away from Kamaria to him. "I swear to you, I never asked them to do this. Maybe before but, trust me, when I said I wanted to help you I meant it. Ever since we met when we were smaller, I've always wanted to help you and be right there by your side. I never meant to hurt you. Let me untie you guys and we can get back on the road. We'll travel together and....I'll keep my distance but please...trust me."

I didn't know if I could believe him. Something in me was drawn to him and his words. "Untie everyone and let them go. I wanna speak to you alone."

"Artemis!" Cosette screamed. I looked at her and shook my head. "I know what I'm doing."
