A new day, good mood and good sleep.

Waking up like this made Hoseok genuinely happy. He finally felt like he was doing some progress getting over his old heartbreak situation, like everything was finally going alright.

...

He arrived to school. He saw everyone there talking before the classes starts, as always. And he also saw Doyun. This time he had another girl between his arms, and it wasn't i good sight.

Because even though Hoseok says he's getting better, he actually feels like he isn't doing much progress. It still hurts seeing Doyun, seeing him with another girl, seeing him with friends.

He feels hurt and betrayed... and lonely.

...

Hoseok wasn't doing much of reading or writing, but today he decided he will go to a bookstore and spend some money on something that will never leave you and will stay on your heart always. Books!!

He was on his way to the library, always with his earphones on. It was a chill day, he felt good.

He was passing in front of a vintage store, and there was lots of items in front of the window, but what called his attention was the rings there. More specific a particular ring.

It was the ring he once gifted to Doyun, in their third month of being a couple.

He saw it in a really expensive jewelry store, and it reminded him of Doyun right away; it was baby blue, with a small heart-shaped stone in the middle and the name of the ring was 'Promise Me'.

And it was perfect! He even went inside the store and asked the girl inside about the price. It was more than he expected, $150 dollars for a simple ring, but it wasn't simple to Hoseok.

He wanted to give it to Doyun because he wanted him to have something he could use everyday and special because Hoseok gave it to him.

When Hoseok told him he bought him a ring Doyun seemed happy, but not as much as Hoseok wanted to.

The day Hoseok gave it to him they were eating in a park, they made kind of a picnic. Doyun reacted happy and he put the ring on right away, he kissed Hoseok and thanked him.

Hoseok thought he was going to see him wear it every day, but little did he know that just a month later Doyun was going to be in the living room of his house breaking up with him.

Hoseok put lots of effort to buy that ring, he bought it for love. He work his ass up serving meals in a restaurant after classes just to buy that $150 dollar ring with an additional 20 for engraving Doyun's name on it.

He once, in all his days of break up, wondered of Doyun still wear the ring, but he has the answer in front of his eyes.

It hurt him, that hole on his chest was again open by this, he wanted to cry because it seemed like his effort didn't worth anything to Doyun.

His mood was now at its lowest, but he still went to the bookstore, he might stay there for a long time.
