Ever since I went to the hospital I can barely remember the worst years of my life. My gender disphoria was so bad that It got me hospitalised it was all because of a dystopian book . It made my mind freeze up and I was basically unresponsive the rest of the day. I constantly worry if I remember the book I might have the same reaction of going numb, cold , and losing my memory.
I'm doing fine now. I am going to therapy pretty soon so that is a great thing but it's weird that a book caused me so much emotional pain and distress that I my brain just shut down.
