Friday came and all of your friends were free so you were 120% sure you were going only one problem:
Trevor.
You tried to find a way to get him to stay at work for longer than he should so you could still come home and prepare dinner.
You would but in the meantime, you had to walk to Peterson's cafe. Which wasn't far from you. When you arrived you noticed that red head (yes, noah ima fr gonna expose u right here, rn.) from your childhood.
So you waved, he didn't notice but his wife did, so she returned the wave. Then, playfully hit his arm for him to do the same.
He eventually did when I sat down. "Heya, Jenna? Right?" I placed out my hand, "The one and only!" Noah placed a kiss upon her cheek as she shook my hand.
"I'm going to use the restroom." She stood up "Alright, babe!" He spoke as she left. "You suck di-" He shushed me before I could finsish "Ah-ah-ah. No naughty langue." He turned around to see our other friend.
Ximena.
"Is that Ximena?" He whispered to me. "Yeah , I think.." He whspered back. We stood up for the akward reuion hug, ya know?
"Iguana!" I wraped my hands around them as I remeber their weird nicknames.
"Hey! Noah!" They did their weird handshake that none of us understood.
They sat and chatted, "Hey, i'm odering drinks! What do you guys want?" Jenna popped back out, You ordered and so did they others they offered to pay but you insists because you suggested it.
As she wnt back in you noticed that sweet smile from the asylum.
"GRACE!" I ran up to her to hug her, but she beat me to it.
"Hey-y-y-y." She laughed.
"Here, sit!" I pointed to a chair, realizing we'd need more chairs.
She did and then another arrived. "Addison!" I squealed. Then realized who was walking behind her.
Sophia and Henry. They were her old crushs from sixth grade, but I heard she married sophia.
They walked passed the cafe but Addison joined since we had to invite her.
Grace introduced herself to Noah, Ximena and Addison. Jenna came back out stuggling to hold the drinks.
Me and Noah rushed over to her to hold them, "Here, i'll order the rest!" I said as I noticed Kathy and Rory. walking up to us.
Evryone introduced themselfs to Grace and got along while I took their drink orders, "Alright got it!" I ran into the coffe shop to the counter.
"Hi um can I get-" I examined my surrounding as a I saw Alma.
I wanted no part in whoever she was with so I continued to order. "Will that be it for you today?" The barista asked.
"Yeah." I said looking back at the window at my friends. I payed and walked out. When I placed the drinks on the table I saw Kathy and Rory and the table.
"Hi, Katherine This is-"
"Grace." She finsished.
"Right. What do you want to drink?" They told me and I ran back in.
"Hi, it's me again uh can I get-" I saw a light brown haired boy that I didn't think I'd see for a long time.
I turned away knowing I could never talk to him again while I was still Trevor, so I contiued ordering. I payed and walked out.
"Alright, that should be it." I handed them their cups.
We talked and talked.
Then, I felt someone tap my shoulder.
I had a feeling of who it was, I squeezed my eyes shut while clutching my jeans.
I opned my eyes to see Grace she was motioning for my to not turn around.
While Ximena, Noah, Kenia, Kathy and Addison were snickiering.
So I turned around. "Y/n?"
"No hablo inglés, ¡me disculpo señor!" (I don't speak English, I apologize sir!)
"Y/NNN!" I heard my friends whine, while Noah was dying of laughter.
"Oh."
"Kit I'm sorry! I was just fuckin' with you."
"I know."
"So?" Grace asked.
"What are you doing here?"
"Spending time with them."
"Without us?"
"Yeah, I mean I figured you'd-"
"When you get home, family meeting." They walked away.
"No hablo inglés, ¡me disculpo señor?" Ximena mocked "Really?"
"What?" We talked more and then decided it was getting late.
I walked home and opened the door.
"Where were you?!"
