Part 6

By the time Kau'i and I are back, everyone is already in a circle.

"Hey guys, I was just telling the new people about our Water festival coming up!" Tseriya says, greeting us.

I walk up to the group as I tie up my hair, to get it out of my face. As I hear the voices again. I completely tune out what Tseriya is saying, all I can hear is one word repeated over and over again. 

"Hawnu, hawnu, hawnu, (Y/n), hawnu," Hawnu means protect. Why would my ancestors tell me to protect, and protect what. Suddenly I get a nudge. It was Neteyam.

"Hey you alright?" He asks me. I smile and nod, immediately looking back at the floor. Kau'i notices.

"Hey, we'll be leaving now, busy day and everything, can't wait for tomorrow though!" She says as she walks over and picks me up, I almost faint into her arms. Neteyam immediately rushes up, picking me up bridal style and Kau'i rolling her eyes, walking along side us.

"Kau'i tell me immediately what's going om," Neteyam say's as we walk towards our Bungalow.

"(Y/n) has been hearing these voices, I think it is Eywa talking to her, and she's freaking herself out," Kau'i says as she presses her hands on my stomach as I'm laid down by Neteyam. "Yeah, your stomach is tight, breathe out slowly."

I do as told as Neteyam hold's my hand, Kau'i doing some Tsahik stuff. I immediately feel better.

"You alright? Honestly talk to me," Neteyam said. 

"Yes, I'm alright, sorry for scaring you. Go join the rest of them, and tell us what they say," I said.

"No, I'm staying here so your skxawng ass heals properly," He says. Kau'i laughs.

"Go, I'll look after (Y/n)," She says. Neteyam just looks at her, then me, then kisses my head, leaving. Without a word. I sit up, sighing. "I think we should talk to Ronal, she can see properly."

"She was already not wanting us to stay here, it will freak her our that I'm hearing the voices saying Hawnu," I said as Kau'i's eyes get big.

"They are saying what now?" She hisses at me, crawling closer to me, putting two finger's on my temple, waving this leaf thing in front of me, all of a sudden I feel my energy drained, as I faint.

I wake up a bit later, with Kau'i, and Ronal standing over me.

"Your awake!" Kau'i saying, running to hug me. "I did it, I'm sorry, I got Ronal."

I opened my eyes fully, and look at her, scooting back.

"It is alright (Y/n), I am not going to kick you out. I'm glad Kau'i reported this," She started. "The more you will hear these voices, means the closer the danger is. This is our great mother warning you. Your gift may save us all. Keep telling me the stuff you hear," She says as she starts to leave.

"Please, please keep this a secret. I don't need anybody worrying about me," I said, as she smiled and nodded, then leaving with a kit. "What the hell Kau'i, I said no."

"I know and I am sorry, you just always under react about things, and we are literally being hunted, so when Hawnu was being spoken to you, I had to do something," She said. "Now lie down now, sleep," She said.

I laid down, pretending to try to sleep. "I'm fine," I said, giving up.

"We are going to do breathing exercises next, you up for it?" She asks me. I nod as we stand up. I walk up to her and hug her, as she hugs me. "I'm worried about you (Y/n)."

"Don't be, really," I said as we headed out to the group. 

As we submerged into the water, Aonung came up to us with Roxto.
