I'm too sore to write fics so have some late-night head cannons of mine.

Correct me if I'm wrong on any of these. I did some research, but I know there might misinformation.

-Texas loves to sing and has a really smooth and deep voice that mixes well with most string instruments.

-The first song Texas learned to sing and play with guitar was "Tomorrow" by Chris Young.

-California's hair always smells like bonfire smoke, so does his flannel and beanie.

-All of the states know how to play at least one instrument, even Florida who only learned piano by ear simply for the chaos of scaring people with scary piano music at three in the morning a skill of which he uses as a cure for boredom. He can also play kazoo.

-Florida has eaten lemons like orange slices without even wincing and can eat five in a row before even feeling the sour kick in. This is mostly because he produces a lot of citrus and loves the confused reactions he gets. He once did this in front of CDC who immediately assumed he had covid.

-New York really easily picks up different languages, he does this simply to insult people in their own language.

-Massachusetts hates when people call him MA and Mama but deals with it because one time, he got upset about it and Florida called him Mommy to see how much more upset he would get.

-New York is astonishingly good at arts due to New York's Percentage of population with visual and performing arts degrees being 6.46%, which is the highest of all states. Second and third highest being Vermont and California with 5.90% and 5.51%.

-California's breath always smells like wine because he is responsible for 85% of American wine production.

-Detroit, Michigan is the most dangerous city in the U.S. with a violent crime rate of 2,007.8 incidents per 100,000 people with a total of 261 homicides (in 2018), making it the only midsize or large city with a violent crime rate of over 2,000. Because of this Michigan has extreme intrusive thoughts (not impulsive thoughts like dying hair or buying expensive stuff, but the ones of murder, violence, cannibalism, etc) and when the thoughts get overwhelming, he will lock himself in his room afraid of himself and the thoughts.

-Texas is usually put in charge of making dinner, being ranked #1 in food. When he can't then it's up to #2 being California, #3 as New York, Louisianna as #4, or #5 which would be Tennessee.

-The states who are best known to be able to hold their alcohol are California with 907 breweries, Colorado with 425 breweries, New York who has 423, Washington with 423, Pennsylvania having 401, Michigan with 400, and Texas with 341.
