“In summary, Venti doesn't want to go home cause of his mother being abusive and blaming him because she lost her beauty after getting pregnant?” Childe asked tilting his head. “She also blamed Venti because his father cheated on her.” Xiao said, leaning back to the couch. “Are you okay Venti? Why didn't you tell us sooner?” I asked, looking at Venti with a worried expression. Venti looked down to his toes. “Sorry..” Venti replied, almost going to cry. “Aw, cheer up little guy.” Childe says to Venti who's almost going to cry. Venti then nodded and hugged Xiao, Xiao sighed and hugged Venti back. Childe looked so happy that he was going to cry, I wonder why. “Why are you so happy?” I ask to Childe softly looking at him. “Oh, you still don't know?” Childe asked me. “Know what?” I asked to his question. “That Xiao is dating Venti?” Childe said. I was stunned, Venti and Xiao turned tomato red. I then looked back to Xiao. “Is this true!?” I ask as Xiao nodded slowly. I then smiled. “Our little baby boy has a boyfriend!” Childe said as Venti laughed a bit, was it because of the nickname or was it because Xiao was embarrassed, I don't know.

Ganyu and Xiao are playing chess together as Venti and Hutao cheered. Venti cheering for Xiao and Hutao cheering for Ganyu. And g0ddamn the game is so intense, they barely could move any piece without their piece being eaten.
“Check.” Ganyu said, smirking. Xiao groaned as his moved his pawn to cover the bishops check. Then the game continued for like, 20 minutes before Ganyu won.
Xiao then sighed and rolled his eyes when he lost. “Yess!” Hutao exclaimed, hugging Ganyu. Xiao then crossed his arms as he looked at the two sisters hugging each other. Venti then chuckled and hugged Xiao. Xiao didn't hug back but he did hang his head on Ventis shoulder. “It's okay, you did your best.” Venti whispered as he kissed Xiao on the cheek. Xiao then pulled Venti onto his lap. Ganyu and Hutao then stared at the two boys, Hutao scrunching her nose in disgust. “Eww, gay!” She said, jokingly, looking away. “You have a girlfriend, Hutao.” Xiao reminded her, Hutao then laughed. “I know that~!” Hutao said, grinning widely as she looked back at Xiao. Xiao then rolled his eyes, “Another round, Ganyu?” Xiao asked, Venti still on his lap. “Sure.” Ganyu replied smiling gently.
When the game started that smile immediately turned into a smirk, knowing damn well that she is winning. Xiao is literally going to explode but he doesn't cause Venti is on his lap. Yes, on his lap, while playing chess against Ganyu.
Suddenly, while in the middle of the game, the door bell rang. “Shit, I'll go get it!” Hutao said, standing up and running towards the door.
“Who is it?” Hutao asked as she slowly opened the door. “Lucia, Lucia Barbatos.” The woman replied. Hutao thought in her head,
‘Barbatos? Isn't that Ventis last name? Oh my goodness, is this Ventis mom?! Oh shit, Venti's in real real trouble.’
“Is this the Tartaglia residence?” The woman asked, holding up her phone. “Uh, yes, why?” Hutao asked, knowing damn well that it was Ventis mom. “I want to talk to your fathers, are they available?” The woman asked. “Aha, wait a moment.” Hutao said, slowly closing the door as she ran to where Xiao and Ganyu were playing.
“Siss, please call papa and dad, there's someone looking for them.” Hutao said, looking at Ganyu. Ganyu sighed, “Fine.” she then slowly stood up and ran to their parents bedroom. Hutao then sighed, “Venti, I think it's your mom outside.” Hutao whispered, so that the woman wouldn't hear from outside. Venti froze, “What.” he whispered back, shocked. “She said he last name was Barbatos! Isn't that your last name also..!” Hutao said softly. Xiaos face then went dark. “I think you should stay in your room Venti.” Xiao said, Hutao then nodded her head frantically, agreeing to what Xiao said. Venti then sighed and slowly got off Xiao and walked upstairs to his room.
A few seconds later, Ganyu arrived with the two men. Zhongli then ran to the door and slowly opened it, greeting the unknown woman. “Good afternoon, please, come in.” Zhongli said as he opened the door wide so the woman can come in. The woman then smiled at him softly then walked inside. Zhongli then led the woman to the couch where Childe and Ganyu were seated. Hutao and Xiao sitting on the stairs.
“Come, sit.” Zhongli said, pointing at an empty chair. “Ah, thank you.” The woman thanked. “So what brings you here and who are you?” Childe stated. “I'm Lucia Barbatos.” She said, “I went here to ask if my son Venti is here by any chance?” She asked innocently, Childe then smiled fakely at the woman as Zhongli looked at woman with dark face. “No.” Childe replied to the question. “Are you sure?” The woman asked, face completely changed into a serious face. Zhongli and Childe didn't reply. Ganyu looked at his parents worryingly, she then sighed and slowly walked away to her brother and sister.
“Xiao, you should stay with Venti.” Ganyu whispered, sighing. Xiao then nodded as he slowly stood up and walked up the stairs to Ventis room. He then gently opened the door and entered.
Xiao then walked up to Ventis bed and sat down. “You alright?” Xiao asked. Venti then sat up and hugged Xiao. “I think I am.” Venti replied to Xiaos question and he slowly sat on Xiaos lap. “Good to know.” Xiao said, hugging Venti. Venti then smiled and pushed Xiao onto the bed and started kissing his cheeks. Xiao then smiled a little. But after a while Venti stopped kissing and sat up. Xiao then also sat up. “Is there something wrong?” Xiao asked, “No, I'm just wondering, what was she doing here?” Venti asked, laying his head on Xiaos shoulder. “I also don't know, but i know that she's looking for you.” Xiao said, as he stroked Ventis hair. Venti then made an *ohh* sound, “Can we sleep?” Venti asked. “Why all of the sudden?” Xiao asked, staring at Venti. “So when I wake up she's gone.” Venti replied with a small smile. Xiao then sighed. “Alright then, let's sleep.” Xiao said
Xiao layed down. Venti also layed down next to Xiao, snuggling onto his chest. Xiao smiled as he pulled the blanket over them both. They then fell asleep next to each other after awhile.
