A month had passed and I think I have feelings for Venti. He is just so adorable and smiley, I like his presence! No, I love his presence. Venti even started to wear clothes that aren't long sleeved. Although I'm still curious why was he always so fond of wearing long sleeved clothes. Was he insecure? Nah, he literally has pale, milky and soft delicate skin, who would be insecure about that. Or maybe he had a lot of scars before? If he did, why did he have scars before? Who would hurt such a beautiful boy. Wait, I remember my parents talking with Venti. Venti claimed that he had abusive parents. Maybe that's why.. I can't be sure though cause I'm not Venti. Hehe.
“Earth to Xiaoo!” Hutao screamed Infront of my face. “Huh?" I replied with a confused look on my face. “You've been zoning out.” Ganyu said as she ate her lunch. “Yeah.. We got kinda worried.” Venti added with a worried look. I chuckled. “I was just thinking about something, sorry.” I said smiling. “Wow, okay.” Hutao replied, rolling her eyes. “It was meant for Venti, not you.” I said to her rolling my eyes. Venti and Ganyu just chuckled. “Aiya, just eat already!” Hutao said frowning. “Okay okay.” I replied to her, holding my chopsticks as I actually start to eat my lunch.
3rd person pov:
All of them were chatting and stuff like that, but suddenly, “I think I like Venti.” Aether said to Hutao and Lumine. Hutao almost spit the non existent water she was drinking as Lumine laughed. “I'm being for real right now..!” Aether said, slapping Lumines shoulder, turning red as a tomato. “Okay okay, geez.” Lumine replied rubbing her shoulder as Hutao laughed fer fucking ass off. Aether just did a *Hmph* sound before asking a question to Hutao. “Do you think he'll like me back?" He asked as Hutao shrugged her shoulders. “I think you should ask Xiao.” Hutao replied as she put her hands on her hips with a grin. “Eh, why?” Aether asked with a confused face. “Cause those two are close, Duh.” Hutao replied, jokingly rolling her eyes as the two blonde chuckled. “Alright.” Aether replied with a smile. Hutao just did a thumbs up in reply. “C'mon, let's eat with Xianling no Aether.” Lumine said, Aether just nodded. The two blondes then said goodbye to Hutao and left. Hutao sighed and also walked to find other people to annoy. (Probably Yanfei.💪)
Xiao got out of the bathroom, he just finished taking a shower. He sat down on his bed and got his phone to check of there were any notifications. He scrolled and saw a notification from Aether. He checked the message and saw—

He's your best friend right?
Xiao

‘Damnit, Aether has a crush on Venti??’ Xiao thought to himself. He clenched his hand and sat on his bed. ‘I think I should hangout with Venti more.’ He thought to himself again before standing up to go to Ventis room. Xiao knocked on Ventis door twice before the door opened. “Oh, hey Xiao!” Venti greeted as he held Xiaos hands and dragged him to his bed. Xiao just let Venti drag him and willingly sit on Ventis bed. “Hi Xiao!” Ventis said with a smile, still holding Xiaos hands. “Hi.” Xiao replied with a small smile. Venti giggled a little. “Can I tell you something?” Xiao asked with an obviously face smile. Venti nodded and leaned on Xiaos shoulder. “If Aether had a crush on you, and he confesses, would you accept or no? And why.” Xiao asked, with a slightly worried face. “I would not accept becauseee.. I like somebody else!” Venti replied with a big smile. Ouch Xiao thought to himself. That kinda hurted him cause he himself has a crush on Venti, Venti likes someone else which made Xiaos heart ache. It can't be helped though, Venti is always around kind and charming people so obviously Venti would have a crush on a person that is not Xiao. Xiao is way to low for Venti, and Venti deserves the best. Atleast that's what Xiao thinks. “Oh, okay.” Xiao replied, he and almost immediately left the room with an emotionless expression as he walked to his room. Xiao locked his doors and layed down on his bed. Feeling so miserable knowing that Venti likes someone else. He then scrolled into TikTok to forget that his heart was literally aching and pounding so fast.
“Huh, why did Xiao leave so suddenly?” Venti asked to himself. He just shrugged it off and took his earphones and looked for a playlist he would like and play it while he studied and check if there are any assignments.
A few hours had passed and Venti fell asleep on his table, earphones still on. Someone outside made three knocks, and when Venti didn't answer the person softly open the door and said, “It's time for dinner.” with a gentle voice. When Venti didn't respond he walked to the chair Venti was sitting on and took a peek. ‘Oh, he's asleep.’ He thought to himself. He then smiled a little before brushing off some hair off Ventis face before taking his earphones out and carried him to the bed, bridal style. He then gently placed him on the bed, covered him with the thick blanket and gave him a pillow to cuddle with. He then admired his work and left the room with a smile. He fixed himself and got back to his serious face before going down to the kitchen where his parents and sisters were sitting at. He seated himself on his seat. “Why isn't he here?” Childe asked, slightly getting impatient. “He's asleep.” Xiao replied, remembering how Venti looked like sound asleep, As he tried his best not to smile. Childe just nodded. Then they all ate their beautiful made dinner.
After dinner Xiao decided to check on Venti if he was still sleeping. He went upstairs and slowly opened the door, revealing a crying boy, forming a ball as he layed down. Xiao immediately ran to Venti. “Venti??” Xiao asked with concern and worry visible on his face. Venti just sobbed harder and pulled Xiao closer to hug him. “What's wrong..?” Xiao asked, hugging Venti back. “I-I'm.. Scared..” Venti said, burying his face on Xiaos stomach. Xiao sighed and sat down with Venti on the bed. Xiao then pulled Venti onto his lap and rub comforting circles on his back. “Xiao..” Venti whispered. Xiao hummed in response, as if he's saying what. “C-can you..” Venti got cut off and sobbed a bit more. Venti buried his face on Xiaos chest. “S-sleep with m..me..?” Venti asked shyly but still crying. “Of course.” Xiao smiled and kissed Venti head.
