I walk down the dark alley, a breeze blowing my long dark curls around. I reach the dead end and push on the brick wall. It opens inward, making a grinding sound. I step in and close it back into place.

I stand in a dim, curving stairwell. The grey stone is only lit by torches burning on the wall. Mid evil, trust me, I know. Those who reside here prefer the old architecture.

I walk gracefully down the spiral staircase until I reach the bottom, coming to face a long stone hallway.

My street clothes won't be accepted here. I snap my fingers and in a flash of flame, my clothes burn off into something new. I'm now wearing a black one shouldered dress, with a silver band right under my bust. A silver helmet with wings coming off the side is placed on my head and silver sandals are on my feet, laced all the way to my knees. A silver band about two inches thick wraps around my upper left bicep and My wings are now visible, coming out of my shoulder blades royally.

I walk down the stone hall, my shoes clicking slightly. I sense who I'm looking for through an aged door and open it slowly. Several people dressed in black and silver like I am, sit around the room. Their outfits are different from mine and they don't have wings coming out of their backs. Instead they have to scars that form an upside down v.

I gaze around the room and make contact with her blue eyes. Rhiannon. She smirks and I walk over, stretching out on the sofa next to her.

"You know... Black and silver is only for us fallen angels...", she says smoothly

I give a light, airy laugh,"I don't want anyone to know I'm not fallen..."

She smacks my arm,"you have wings you filthy harlot!"

I look her over. "I don't understand why you call me a harlot when you have more skin showing than I do..."

She wears a strapless black dress with a silver band under her bust. Silver sandals lace up to the middle of her calfs and a silver crown that looks like twigs woven together is placed around her temples.

She smirks and her blue eyes sparkle,"Gotta work it for the gentleman you know..." For a split second I see pain prickle through her eyes. I know what for too...

I nod,"I ran into a fine looking gentleman today actually..." I smirk and remember his reaction.

Rhi's eyebrows shoot up and she crosses her arms,"And how did you meet this 'gentleman' ?"

I bite my lip and give a small laugh,"I 'accidentally' got into his cab..."

She tosses her long golden hair over her shoulder,"Like I said earlier, Harlot."

I shake my head,"How am I a harlot for wanting to meet someone?"

She puts a finger to her chin thoughtfully,"I guess it depends what drew you to him..."

I smile and look at her,"His energy. The energy he was emitting... It's not anything I've felt on a human before..."

"You don't think he's... Half and half..."

I shake my head,"it's impossible. Angels can't reproduce with humans..."

"I heard the word reproduce and thought I should join the conversation!", says Atretes as he stretches across our laps.

I slap the back of his head,"Get off me you idiot!"

He smirks and flexes his pecks,"You know you want this, everyone does..."

He's right. Atretes was one of the most handsome people I have ever met. He now sits across my lap wearing a skirt with a silver brooch on the hip, silver sandals that lace just above his ankle, and a silver band with ancient language inscribed on it that wraps around his temples. His body was chiseled to perfection and was cut in just the right way.

I shove him off though,"you know I don't want you." I smirk and cross my arms over my chest

He sits up and twirls one of my curls with his finger," Someday you'll realize your undying love for me."

I give a cruel laugh,"You'll have to wait a few more centuries for that, Atretes."

He shrugs and smirks,"I've waited for centuries already, I think I can wait a few more..."

I shake my head and punch his arm. He grabs my wrist and leans in whispering,"Can I tell you a secret?..."

I shrink away from him,"What is it?..."

He leans in real close, his face centimeters from mine. Then very quietly he murmurs,"Your angel is showing..." He flicks the tip of one of my wings and I smack his hand away.

"No! You don't say!", I say sarcastically. "You know that possibly is because I'm an Angel."

He shakes his head,"Not by the way you're acting, you little demon."

I jump on him playfully and he wrestles me to the ground, pinning my wrists down.

Rhiannon shakes her head in disgust,"You two have no manners whatsoever!"

I grab her ankle and pull her onto the floor, making her squeal loudly. I'm just about to jump ontop of her when the door bangs open.

The whole room falls silent.
