Chapter 5 - I Need You

Clarkes POV

I nearly crumbled in Bellamy's arms. They wrapped around me and offered the best protection I had since on the ark. If I had stayed there any longer I wouldn't be the leader that I needed to be.

"Are you okay?" Atom asks. I swear he's just wanting to know what happened and not that I'm alright. "Yeah thanks. I just felt ill." I can tell he's not fully satisfied with my excuse when he lightly nod and turns to face the gate.

"There" Atom points to a figure in the tree. "What on Earth? No weapon"

Bellamy walks up behind us. "They know we have limited ammo. Don't shoot."

How does he even know that? He must be more intelligent than he looks.

"What?" He questions. Oops I must have slightly chuckled. "Nothing."

The hours pass and day turns to night. I don't think I ever stopped staring at him.

Nothing was happening out there. No movement, no noise. Bellamy must have been right. The smart ass.

I decide speak up. If I want to be a leader I need to take charge more. "Those of us who are not on watch should get some sleep." Everyone must agree as the quickly shuffle to their tents. Those who had guns stayed at the fence.

I make my way to the tent. I sleep alone, that way there's no fuss and more privacy.  I can hear footsteps behind me. I quickly glance behind me to see it was Bellamy. As I turn back I see out of the corner of my eye a smirk on his face. What the hell does he want?

As I enter my tent he stands behind me. Lifting my hair up he plants a kiss onto my neck. His arms wrap around my stomach and he whispers in my ear "You're Perfect."

My face lights up and I spin around to face him. I kiss him on the lips as he grabs me. Lifting me up he palaces me onto my bed. Breaking the kiss apart he mouths to me 'I need you'.

Another short update!

I have a really busy weekend plus its half term here in the UK!

I have mocks coming up soon so I can't guarantee too many updates.
