It was a cold afternoon when the members of BTS got notification from the CEO of BigHit, Hitman Bang to come to his office for a small meeting.
Namjoon, Jin, Yoongi, Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook all sat in front of Hitman bang, feeling nervous for the news they were about to receive but what they didn't know was that the news that was about to fill their ears would change everything.
"Thank you for meeting me boys" Hitman bang said and the boys of BTS all nodded, "so I gathered you here today because I have decided something that affects all of you. I know y'all are in the middle of your comeback but..." Hitman bang was silent for a few minutes before he finally said.... "I decided from this day forward, y'all will have a new member...a female member" the silence was loud, almost deafening and the air became tense, "BTS will from now on be a 8 member group instead of a 7 member group. Tomorrow I will give you more information" Hitman bang stated before he dismissed the boys and they all left in silence, heading back to the dance practice room where once they entered, they all voiced their displeasure except for two members, "guys I know this is unexpected and I'm not very happy about this either, but complaining isn't going to change anything" Namjoon said while Jin just stayed silent. The others were angry and worried but they knew being angry and worried isn't going to make this news go away so they just practiced and tried to keep an open mind.
-next day in the afternoon-
It was the afternoon of the next day and once again, the members of BTS were once again sitting in front of Hitman bang and they were silent. Hitman bang felt the anger in the air but he cleared his throat and started the small meeting, "I know y'all are upset but here is the information of your new member" he said and opened a file, "her name is Kim Boram, she is 19 and she has been training with our company for 7 months" Hitman bang said and looked at the boys before he cleared his throat and continued, "so since y'all have already finished the songs and your photoshoots, she will only be dancing, not singing as of yet. I have already released a statement announcing this news and tomorrow, she will officially move into the dorm." All of the boys of BTS just nodded their heads, not saying anything to the information before eventually Namjoon spoke up, "what are her positions within the group?" He asked calmly and suddenly all the other boys were worried on if this girl is going to take any of their positions seeing as she's already taken Jungkook's position as Maknae, "based on her talents I have observed and watched, she is going to be a second main dancer, vocalist, lead rapper, and Maknae" Namjoon nods while the others filled with anger except Hoseok, who became curious on her talents to be a main dancer like him. Hitman bang cleared his throat, "that's all for now, her official profile will be posted tomorrow. You are dismissed and you will notice when you arrive back at your dorm that an extra bed and dresser has been added to one of your rooms" the boys all nodded and left his office, immediately going to their dorm to see which one of them will be sharing a room with their new member. An audible sigh came from Hoseok when he went to his room and saw an extra bed and dresser, Hoseok went out the room and to the others, "I'm sharing my room with her" Hoseok said disappointedly and the others looked at him with sympathy but deep down they were happy they didn't have the problem of sharing a room with their new member. Soon after discussing tomorrows plans, all the boys went to sleep, not looking forward to meeting their new member.
