BTS 8th member

First impressions

It was September 19th, a day after Boram has moved into the BTS dorm. It was early in the morning when everyone in the dorm was getting ready to practice for their comeback and for the boys it was another day of their idol life, but for Boram it was the beginning of her new life and she was beyond excited to prove herself.

Boram and the boys of BTS were gathered in the practice room, doing their own stretching routine to get ready to practice for their comeback.

Once everyone was ready, they begin to practice the dance after the choreographer guided and showed Boram where her position will be in the dance and to the surprise of the BTS members, it didn't take Boram long to fit right in with the group and they were more surprised to see that she already knew the choreography to DNA. They all practiced for five hours and once they finished, they all sat down and stayed silent as they slowly caught their breaths. Once they rested, Namjoon was the first to speak, "I have to say that I am very....impressed with your dancing skills and your facial expressions" he said and Boram smiled happily and bowed, "thank you Namjoon oppa" she said and smiled, feeling happy that Namjoon talked to her. The others on the other hand just stayed silent which Boram understood and she just smiled softly.

Soon once the members of BTS finished practicing and finished preparing for their comeback, they all headed back to the dorm except Hoseok and Boram. Hoseok and Boram had been picked to go pick up food for everyone and for Hoseok, he wasn't exactly thrilled but Boram was happy to be spending time with Hoseok. It was quite silent during the walk from the dorm to the restaurant until Hoseok decided to break it, "um..you did well today during practice. You have great control of your movements and it was just...surprising" he said and cleared his throat once he finished, feeling awkward which Boram noticed but she just smiled and thanked him in a soft voice to which Hoseok gave a soft smile.

Once they arrived at the restaurant and received the food, they headed back to the dorm and everyone ate in somewhat awkward and comfortable silence. Once everyone got done eating, a discussion rose up about who would be washing the dishes and immediately Boram raised her hand and offered to clean them and she did. As Boram washed the dishes, she softly cried to herself for what seemed like a good 10 minutes before she finally finished and wiped up any water. She turned and jumped, "oh my!" She held her chest as a cute baby laugh filled the room and she smiled as Jungkook threw his head back laughing, "I'm sorry Boram, I didn't mean to scare you" he said and Boram laughed, finding the situation quite humorous and before she could say anything, Jungkook beat her to it, "I wanted to tell you that I think you did good today at dance practice. I have to say I was expecting you to mess up or something but you didn't and that's great. You did good and I'm excited to see how you do tomorrow" Jungkook smiled and then walked off, going to his own room, leaving Boram speechless.

Time past and Boram decided to go to bed. She meditated as she laid there and her nervousness soon went away and a feeling of proudness and honor filled her. She felt proud and honored to have gotten such compliments from Hoseok and Jungkook. As she drifted off to sleep, she smiled at the last thought of being on stage with her new family.
