I feel as if it hasn't changed
When people rule, corruption will always be in their range
But in this time and day, it feels as if history repeated itself
I can never be proud of being Filipino
Always associated as being dirty
The pride I have is close to empty
Maybe it is better now, we are progressing
Albeit slowly, but it is promising
I am proud of the people, but not the government
I am not concrete with this settlement
We know we have achieved more
And I'm sure we'll score
The past can be repeated,
People may learn, but they forget what they initiated
The people you vote will have consequences
Their promising assurances
The problem is people forget what made them upset
And so politics will recycle and change how they word their agenda
