Neteyam's Pov:

Me and aonung walked along the trails of the camp. He voiced all his worries to me, about the fish, his people, his family, and his home.

He seemed really worried about everything, especially the food source.

"What if fish stop coming?" Aonung asked worriedly. "Please don't worry" I told him. "Your tribe is amazing, you'll find healthy plump fish!" I tried to encourage him. But he didn't look encouraged.

"Do you think it has to do with the sky people?" Aonung asked me, tracing his hand over his scar. "If that's true we'll fight and protect like last time" I told aonung, touching his wrist.

"I want to know what's good going on with the ocean" aonung said, looking in the direction towards the beach. "Then we'll find out" I shrugged. "My father said not to" aonung said, looking back at me. I shrugged again. "We know how to break a few rules" I smiled.

"What if it ends up like last time?" He asked me worriedly, touching his scar again.

I carefully touched his wrist, lowering his hand down away from the scar. "It won't be" I reassured him. "Because you wont be all alone this time"

"And tuk won't come" he said, looking at the ground. "No, we'll make sure she's safe in the dens" I promised him.

Aonung let out a shaky breath. "You'll be there with me right?" He asked and I nodded my head. "Of course" I smiled, creasing his cheek.

Aonung nodded. "Then let's do it"

--time skip.

We told the others our plan, rotxo and tsireya seemed real uneasy about going behind the adults backs.

"Dude I don't want your dad to skin me alive!" Rotxo said to aonung, widening his eyes.

"And what if we get hurt" tsireya asked. "I'd love to figure it out but I'm worried" she said, lo'ak touched her hand. "We have each other" he told her. "We can lean on each other for support" lo'ak told her.

Tsireya squeezed his hand, smiling at him.

"Okay!" Rotxo breathed out. "Well those guys are doing their love bird shit explain to me how well actually do this" rotxo said, drumming his knee's with his hands.

"I was thinking using the ikrans" neteyam suggested. "And ilus" aonung added. I had almost forgot that aonung was afraid of the flying creature.

"Right, ilu's too" I added, making eye contact with aonung who smiled gratefully.

"Me, aonung, and tsireya can patrol with the ilu's while you guys patrol the sky with the ikrans" rotxo suggested. I agreed with his idea.

"I will bring medicine too Incase it is needed" Kiri smiled. Rotxo thanked her quickly before anyone else could.

"And if you need help carrying anything let me know!" Rotxo said, having the most goofiest smile on his face.

Aonung flicked him on the back of the head before whispering something I couldn't hear but rotxo started bickering and crossing his arms while aonung laughed.

"What you'd say to him?" I whispered to aonung, he had a sly smile on his face as he leaned over to whisper in my ear. "I told rotxo to stop goo goo eyeing your sister" aonung snicker.

"Oh my eywa aonung" I smiled.

Rotxo hit aonung in the side. "Don't be sharing the bro's secrets" he smiled. "You guys are such dorks" kiri smiled. "They always are" tsireya said, she still held lo'ak's hand.

"So when are we putting this plan to work?" Lo'ak asked. We all seemed to think about it for a while.

"Tomorrow?" Kiri suggested and rotxo nodded along. "Yes early morning, the water will be most clearest" rotxo told us. Tsireya nodded along. "At night it's harder to see through"

"And night time is just creepy" rotxo said, shivering. "Aww does little rotxo need someone to protect him" aonung mocked. "Shut up bro!" Rotxo laughed, smacking aonung's arm.

"But tonight we'll pack and get ready" lo'ak said, the conversation went back to seriousness. "Yes, just don't get caught by the adults" tsireya nodded.

"Okay then we'll all see each other tomorrow morning?" I asked, Kiri nodded. "As soon as the sun rises"

Everyone seemed to agree with that as we started to spilt off, my siblings gathered around me as tsireya went to aonung.

"Damn wish i had siblings" rotxo pouted. "Bye y'all!" He quickly smiled before making his way back to his den.

I laughed at how childish rotxo was and I waved tsireya and aonung goodbye.

Tomorrow better go good.
