Neteyam's Pov:

"Takuk!" Aonung hissed playfully, half tackling the little one as he tried to run away down the beach.

Takuk burst out giggling, covering his mouth. "Again, again!" Takuk cried, waving his hands.

I couldn't help but laugh at the two. "Your gonna wear him out takuk" I said touching aonungs back.

Takuk smiled at me. "Can you do it then?" He asked and I let out a sigh. "How about a different game dear?" I asked and he nodded his head rapidly.

"We should teach him to swim" aonung said, smirking at me. "Swim?" Takuk repeated.

"We'd have to ask Kiri" I told aonung and he rolled his eyes playfully. "We don't have to ask if she doesn't have to know" aonung smirked and takuk giggled.

"No, aonung don't teach takuk to act like that" I scolded but couldn't help but chuckle.

"I was only kidding" aonung said, mostly to takuk, turning his head to face him.

"Always listen to your mother, got it" aonung told takuk while making a face at him.

"What about me?" We heard a voice behind us ask and we turned to see Kiri and tsireya making their way down the beach.

"Mommy! Auntie!" Takuk cheered as aonung set takuk down and he went running to them both.

"I told him to always listen to his mother" aonung told Kiri innocently and I rolled my eyes playfully.

"Oh good" Kiri smiled, rubbing takuk's back as tsireya hugged him.

"Thanks for watching him while I was busy" Kiri thanked and we both nodded.

"Anytime" I smiled and aonung nodded again. "Whenever you need me to watch him I can" aonung told Kiri and she nodded gratefully.

"Would you like to walk with us?" Tsireya asked, picking up takuk and both me and aonung nodded.

We began to make our way off the beach and back to the pods.

Kiri seemed to fall behind tsireya and aonung and closer to me.

She looked over at me with a smirk and I gave her a suspicious look. What's she up to.

One the group was a little paces ahead of me and her Kiri spoke.

"So neteyam..." Kiri started off the smirk not leaving her face. "You thinking about any kids?" She asked.

"Kiri!" I hissed lowly, feeling the blush spread across my face. "You know that's not how it works!" I huffed.

Kiri giggled a bit. "Oh come on neteyam, there are other options too!" She smiled but I shook my head.

"All done" I told her playfully, walking closer to aonung. "Conversation over" I told her and she giggled jogging back over to tsireya.

"What's going on?" Aonung asked, looking down at me. "Nothing!" I said, smiling over at me.

He raised and eyebrow but shrugged. "Alright"

"Do you guys thin-"

A horn blew making us all jump and a warrior screamed from down below on the beach.

"What's going on!?" Tsireya hissed, pulling takuk back so he couldn't see the beach.

"akula!" A voice screamed and I felt aonung brush past me before I was running after him.

"Olo'eyktan!" A warrior hissed running up to aonung as we reached the beach. "There's been a akula attack!" The warrior hissed.

I watched the hunting group pour back into the beach, some of them were scratched up, their skimwings and ilu's hurt too.

"Olo'eyktan!" A voice screamed and our mine and aonungs head turned in the direction of the voice.

Tuk.

"Tuk!" I yelled, running to her while she jumped off her ilu. "I'm not hurt but help him!" Tuk cried panicking.

Aonung was right beside me, lifting up the body before I could see who it was.

"No! Damnit!" Aonung hissed, blood was dying the water as aonung rushed the body out of the water.

"What were you thinking!?" I could hear his voice yell but I focused more on tuk.

"Are you hurt?" I asked her worriedly, checking her over only to see a few cuts and scratches.

"Teyam I'm fine" tuk said pulling me away.

"Then what the hell were you doing out there!?" I yelled at her and she flinched back.

"Neteyam what's going on!?" Lo'ak asked worriedly, touching my arm.

"I just saw aonung running, there's so much blood what happened" Kiri's voice said as well, takuk wasn't with her so I assumed tsireya took him.

"Watch her" I hissed to the two, pointing at tuk.

I needed to see aonung and be there.

Yum. Adding a bit of spice 🥰😋
