The gentlest touch caresses my skin, the breeze warm and soothing. It takes several moments before I even realise that I am conscious again. Venti!

I sit up quickly and look around desperately, ignoring the current condition of my body. My insides are still bothered, my wounds from the boss fights and a new stinging pain on my right upper arm, lingers on my body. I appear to be under a form of shelter. "Venti!" I scream as I attempt to stand.

My legs are weaker than twigs and I fall beneath them. I brace myself for the impact of tumbling to the ground though that never happens. Instead, two arms catch me. I look over my shoulder, its Aether.

"You shouldn't be walking," he sighs.

"I have to see how Venti is doing," I mumble, "Whatever pain he is in now is my fault."

"He's fine," Aether reassures, "Here."

Aether adjusts my limp body, and he ends up piggybacking me outside the shelter. "I'll take you to him."

I get a better look at my surroundings, we are still at Windrise, however the weather has changed drastically. The skies are covered in this dark gloomy grey colour. "How long have I been out?" I gulp, as I twirl Aethers hair as a release.

"A couple of days," He answers.

"What happened after I... blacked out?" I choke on my own words.

"Well, let's just say that your powers aren't that of blocking elemental energy. After you 'blacked out', the sky went dark, and the winds stopped blowing. I wasn't able to use my anemo powers. That was on the first day. Slowly everything began to return, like the slight breeze and my powers but Venti is still out cold. He didn't do well at the beginning, but he is better now. There is no need to worry!" Aether smiles.

We approach the tree, where the bard is lying. Aether puts me down against the trunk. I look down at him sorrowfully. Most of the pain in my body has stopped, however I can still feel a sting on my right upper arm. I pull back my sleeve (If you don't have sleeves that's fine) and see what looks like a tattoo of the anemo symbol there.

"Arhh, Aether did you know about this?" I gesture to my arm. He looks at it and tilts his head, "No?"

He comes down and sits beside me and looks closely at it.

"It wasn't there before I touch the statue," I mutter. He touches it, but nothing happens. The stinging intensifies when he touches it, but no big light works or anything.

"Well, its clear that my powers must absorb elemental energy, I don't have any other solutions," I scratch the back of my head.

"That sounds plausible..." A faint voice grunts. That voice belonged to only the Anemo Archon. His eyes where slightly open. Instinctively, I lent over to help him up, but upon contact the anemo symbol on my arm began to sting much harder. I let go immediately, knowing that I would drain Venti of what little elemental energy he has left. Aether helps him up instead and rests his hand on my shoulder. He knows my heart is in a good place, but now whenever I try to help someone I'll be hurting them instead.

Venti sighs, "Don't look so dull. I'm alive aren't I. All I need is some wine and I'll be fine!"

His comment made me giggle a little, but that died quickly. I look regretfully at my hands that now rest on my legs.

"As pay back, I want to start a tab in your name. So I can order whatever wine I want." I stare at Venti blankly. Well I have just become the money bag for an archon but hey I deserve it. Is opening a tab in my name even possible I am sixteen. (I forgot to mention that you are the same age as Aether, APPEARANCE WISE not actual lore wise)

Aether can see my unrest in my body posture and side hugs me. He rubs my back slowly.

"Wouldn't I be draining your elemental energy..." I mumble to him.

"Well unlick Venti, I don't have a vision but I can use elemental energy. Still that goes to say you are draining me of some, however it doesn't hurt. And you look like you needed a hug," He smiles.

"So, miss Y/N. I take it by now you have figured out my identity?" He tilts his head, I nod slowly to his response. I mean I already knew.

"Yes, I know you are the Anemo Archon," I clear my throat. Venti giggles slightly, "Well that couldn't have stayed a secret for long."

"Question, what people have you come in contact with, that has had a noticeable effect on with your powers?" Venti rests his hand on his chin. I think for a good long second before I answer.

"I remember when I touched Xiao that he couldn't teleport..." My mind trails off, remembering that the karma placed on his soul over his years as an adeptus, some of it may have been transferred to me.

"My head has been very heavy lately, and I haven't been myself, in that I have been very grumpy. I thought it might have just been because of my injuries. However, it may have been because of Xiao's karmic debt. Maybe when I was draining him of elemental energy, some of his karmic debt was transferred to me."

Venti hums in agreeance, "This might be the case. Quite simply we don't know enough about your power. But I think it is safe to say that you shouldn't touch anymore statues of the sevens."

I nod, and smile at Venti. He looks at my right arm noticing the anemo symbol on it. "Now what does that mean?"

"It appeared after I touched the statue..." I mumble.

"That is quite peculiar, I have never seen anything like it. I guess its only because you're not from this world," he lies back down, "I'm going to get more rest before you go back to Liyue. Can you grab me a bottle of wine from the tavern please?"

Paimon had managed to stay quite this whole time, I didn't even notice her following behind me and Aether "Really! Out of all the things Paimon thought you would have wanted, Paimon would have never guessed that you wanted wine!" She said sarcastically.

I sigh and reply, "sure."

We walk back into Mondstadt, no problems at the gates. As we pass Wagners shop, I drop off my bow for repairs and thank him. We walk towards the little flower shop, and there is a certain figure is standing there.

"Bennet! Its been a while!" I wave. He looks at me for a second then remembers, "Oh, hey Y/N!"

He steps away from the shop and comes over. "Its good to see that you are doing well...?" He says shocked. I wouldn't count it as well, but... "Are those bandages??" He says pointing at the entirety of my being. There are bandages covering my left shoulder, both forearms, the old re-opened cut on my head, the slash on my back and over all of the small bruises and cuts from fighting Childe. I tried to hide them with my clothes though that appears like it didn't work. "Ahh, yes they are..." I trail off.

"What on earth happened?" Bennet asks Aether, who is standing right next to me.

"Nothing important," I interrupt.

"What are you doing at the flower shop?" Aether asks, covering for me.

"I was getting some flowers for my dads," Bennet hums.

"That's nice," Paimon grumbles, "I wish someone would get flowers for Paimon."

"We are currently on important business, so we will talk to you later. Give your fathers my regards," I smile and wave goodbye.

We arrive at the tavern and there isn't many people here. However, Diluc is working at the counter today. Now that I think about it, I actually haven't met many of Aethers friends.

"Hey master Diluc!" Paimon yells, "Piamon was wondering what wine you have to sell?" "Wine? Why would three underaged people want to do with wine?" Diluc sighs. Me and Aether take a seat at the bar. I rest my head on the table.

"Where here to buy wine for a friend. Venti," Aether scratches his head.

"Venti, must be here in order for him to 'buy' wine." Diluc says as he polishes a wine glass, "Who is this?"

"This is Y/N."

When I hear my name I figure its time to sit up and look formal. I smile at Diluc, though the favour isn't returned.

"Look, lets just say that I caused something bad that directly affected him. And the way he wants to be repaid is with a bottle of wine," I try to persuade him.

"This something, is the cause of the weather change?" Diluc asks in a monotone voice, I nod slowly.

"Even if this is the case. I cannot give miners wine, because it would be bad for the business."
I slump back on the table, so much for that!

Diluc slips Aether a note. Before I get to read it, Aether stands up and leaves the building I follow.

"What's happening?" I loudly whisper.

"You'll see..."

We walk around the back of the tavern, where there is a bottle of wine waiting there, with another note. It reads 'Don't tell anyone.' Then without a second thought we hide the bottle of wine then sneak towards the gates. We pick up my bow, with its new and proper string. Then make our way past the guards.

We both decide that it's probably best to not wake Venti up. Instead just to leave the bottle next to him.

"Right, so how long until the bout leaves for Inazuma?" I say as I stretch.

"We have quite a while..." Aether answers.

"So what are we going to do while we wait?" I rub my eyes.

"Train," Aether stares at me with evil eyes. I sigh loud enough to wake a sleeping god.

"Common it was your idea," Aether side bumps me.

"I know..." I grumble.
