It was a long day for Annabella.
She done her chores along with cleaning the house and taking care of the laundry.
She needed a break so she sat down on the soft sofa, as soon as she sat she heard that unpleasing voice "ANNABELLA." Natalie shouted her name following it with "COME HERE THIS ISTANT"
Annabella sighed as she knew she had no choice but to see what she wanted.
She walked to the kitchen to see shattered glass on the floor
"What happened mother?" Annabella asked
"DONT CALL ME MOTHER YOU BRAT." Natalie shouted at her once again
"What happened ma'am." Annabella asked in a snarly tone
"DONT ACT STUPID, YOU DID THIS YOU LITTLE BITCH." Natalie shouted as she slapped Annabella. "NOW CLEAN THIS UP, I WANT THIS PLACE SPOTLESS." Natalie continued.
Annabella grabbed the broom and the dustpan and started cleaning the shattered glass, she picked up the dustpan and dumped the shattered glass in the trashbin.
She then walked back to her room and sat down on her bed, she wondered why her mother was so harsh on her. "nows not the time to be thinking about that" she thought. But she couldn't stop thinking about it no matter how hard she tried.
She stayed awake all night drawing.
"ANNABELLA" Natalie shouted as a hint to come down the stairs.
Annabella went out of her room still in her pyjamas and ran down the stairs walking towards the kitchen.
"Come sit and have breakfast with me darling!" Natalie said switching up from how she was yesterday, smiling at Annabella.
Annabella sat down at the table and picked up her spoon and ate the cereal her mum gave her "thanks mother!" she said.
Annabella realized she called Natalie mother and quickly corrected herself "I-I mean thanks ma'am.."
"No need to call me ma'am! Your my daughter!" Natalie said smiling although it looked fake
Annabella knew what was going on so she coldly walked away from Natalie and walked right back to her room.
Natalie's smile faded and her energy changed. She was pissed.
Annabella plugged her headphones into her iPhone jack and put on music, she found herself lost in the music and started singing to it while her window was open
The neighbour opened their window wide "hey you! Your a pretty good singer!!" They said with excitement
Annabella blushed of embarrassment "m-me?" She pointed to herself
"Yeah you!" Her neighbour commented
"I-" before she could say another word she was cut off "I'm Ollie! What's your name?" They asked fastly
"I'm Annabella." She replied to their answer coldly
Annabella and Ollie talked for hours on end until it was night time
"Alright, I'm going to head to sleep it's past my bedtime" they chuckles "goodnight Annabella!"
"Goodnight ollie."
That night Annabella got some sleep to prepare her for the next day.
She woke up not knowing of her own surroundings.
