Chapter 22.

She kept going miles away each time finding someone new, although not everyone liked humans, there were countless of times Annabella felt people were watching her, she returned to the mansion. She was going to go to sleep when she heard the door being opened, concerned she went to check who it was. It was 7 people looking at Annabella calmly. She didn't know who any of them were when she suddenly was attacked, Raine rushed down the stairs and casted a shield to protect Annabella, she looked around to see what protected her and saw Raine, she felt guilty that she was going to kick him out. Raine could only have a certain time with the shield.

Raine's shield was broken, and the creatures were attacking Annabella, Raine jumped in on the fight and guarded Annabella, Raine got badly beat by the creatures but wasn't stepping down now, he used a forbidden power to kill them. But one survived the brutal suffocation. When Raine was guarding Annabella, the individual went behind Raine and stabbed Annabella with their nails.. Raine looked back and got scared, he knew what the creature was now.

"Annabella!" Raine cried out, Ollie heard Raine and ran down the stairs to see the one who attacked Annabella. She started attacking the individual non-stop crying. Auki then used some type of manipulation and made them fall apart like slices of cake. "Need help?" Auki said calmly.. "wait where did Xai go?! He was supposed to heal her!" Calmness then went to panic, as Auki scattered around looking for Xai but there was no trace at all. Panic turned into complete anger and rage, he knew if it was past 8 hours the one who had been hurt cannot be healed, and only 2 hours for a dead person to be revived. "Was this the end.." Makitio thought as she collapsed to the ground at the site of Annabella, her soft voice was cracking and her eyes were twitching.

Makitio went everywhere to find Xai, she only had 30 minutes left until Annabella would be fully dead. It was her mission to find Xai and save Annabella.
